I have not been to Silent Sparrow in so so long and I don’t understand why, because I loveeee all the stuff there. I made sure to remedy that today. I bought a bunch of stuff and one of the jackets made me change my mind on what I was going to blog today.

I am in love with this snufferbux jacket. Love. Look at the back of that! It comes in a few different colors, so be sure to swing by silentsparrow and pick it up.

Let me tell you about the rest of my outfit today. SySy Chapman the designer behind SySy’s is going to release a special color of her adorable Hush minidress for RFL 2011. I apologize for not wearing it but come on…look at that jacket! I had to wear it! Nonetheless, the Hush dress in any color is awesome and  a must have.

Oh. Must have? The new lassitude & ennu Miss Highland boots are simply gorgeous. Love.

Iki of Dutch Touch released Yri V2 and I could not be more excited! Yri is one of my favorite faces so a V2? Weeeeeeeee!!!!  The body and face are reworked and…and….. if you are a VIP and make sure to wear your tag, you can get 12 free lipstick tattoos. Love. You buy the skin base and a pack of makeups each separately.  So gorgeous.

Okay next – Pure Juice event. Collaboration between the Juicy Sims, CHIC Management and so many talented designers. I blogged about it here and here so make sure to jump over there and get more deets.  First let me show you a few of the lovely things you can purchase at the event…

I love the Jersey Shore. I don’t mean the show, because I have only watched maybe one whole episode and it was horrible. I mean the actual Jersey Shore. Growing up, we lived over three hours away from the shore so it was a huge  and I mean HUGE treat to go to the boardwalk. We would spend hours playing in the water, running to the boardwalk only to get ice cream and then right back to the water.  We barely cared about the games when we were very young, it was alll about playing in the ocean. Trust me, that changed once I discovered boys. By that time though, I had moved to Southern California and the ocean was much…much closer to home.

Anyway, this blog isn’t about the Jersey Shore and especially not about my history with boys.  Mon tissu had a huge release last night and all the pieces are fantastic. My favorite out of everything is this blazer, it fits so so well and if you read my blog you know I am utterly impatient when it comes to fitting most things. So huge plus for me that the Rockaby Blazer is super easy to fit, thus in my eyes making it pretty damn near perfect.  I paired it with my favorite jeans of all time, the mon tissu Lou Lou denims jeans that if you don’t own them..it makes me sad for you.  Oh and So Many Styles just released this freaking adorable belted sweater that is a MUST. A total must. The pack includes belts in different colors and I loved how cute the yellow one went with my Moxie sandals. Sandals with socks? Only sexy in Second Life.

Last thing…the Pout skin from Curio. Please, please tell me you bought this skin. Gorgeous does not even begin to describe it. Each time I put it on, I want to kiss myself. Don’t judge.

Dutch Touch released a new skin this week, Sterre, and she is gorgeous. Yes, I am totally biased when it comes to Dutch Touch because of my serious love affair with Iki’s skins but really…trust me, gorgeous. Sterre is a VIP Exclusive, priced at 550L for a pack that includes dark and light brows, cleavage, hairbase,  freckle layer, eyelashes and five lipstick options. There are four skin tones to pick from; cream, caramel, olive and fudge. There is a 250L price tag to join the group but it is so so worth it. Iki always has great discounts on certain skins for her VIP members, so it is def worth it.  The only thing I want to know is…when can we expect to see more of the beautiful and flawless, Sterre?

I am wearing the Tux Dress from Doppelganger and loving it. Doppelganger is a store that has been catching my attention a lot lately because of the great pieces, awesome prices and the stuff is really cute. Win. Win. Win. All win. Go check them out!

Vanity Universe Skin Fair is back!  Gates open on Sunday Feb. 20th @ 3pm slt. Blogger Day is Feb. 19, so get ready! Below is a picture of the layout and let me tell you, it is so easy to navigate! They did a stellar job setting it up.

I was so excited to be invited to enter the sim yesterday but I was in skin happy overload and didn’t even think to blog. I was just way too excited.  Who could blame me? So many amazing designers, bringing some of their very best work that has already been released and even more exciting…skins that are making their first debut to the grid during the skin fair.  Just epic.

I will be blogging the fair a few times, but let me start my very first skin fair blog with four beautiful new skins.

I cannot even figure out which one is my favorite.  They are all so beautiful in so many different ways. The Glam Affair, Mary, is simply divine. The body is to die for…the face – flawless. Simply flawless. Iren’s May is a fun and pretty skin. There are several options in the pack ranging from freckles to lipgloss. Very cute. Lara  Hurley turned it out with this skin fair release, Ava. Love it. So soft and pretty, just like what we have come to expect from this brand. Mynerva’s Kianna has the most adorable face and you can pick from different eye makeup options. Subtle but beautiful.

Beautiful, beautiful work. Not to be missed.

Growing up in a large city and in a big family (7 siblings) you have to find a place to be alone. It is nearly impossible, because nothing…nothing is sacred. One place I was always able to find a bit of peace was on one of the fire escapes. I would crawl out there with my books and get lost for hours. Heaven.

I am all grown up now but I still love fire escapes. Whenever I go home to visit and it is summer time, I always end up out there at one point or another during the evening to listen to the sounds of the city and usually have a glass of wine. Still heaven.

You know what is also heavenly? Wearing something you love, that makes you not just look pretty but feel pretty.

Ohhh…guess what time it is again? Time for another round of CHIC Limited! Well okay, almost time. The event starts on Feb. 12 and runs through Feb. 26th. Plenty of time to go check out original content from some amazing designers. There are so many beautiful things that last night I blogged a few other things on my personal blog, Sacred Fashion, and chances are I will blog more pretties from the event over there at some point today or tomorrow.

First up is the Magoa peepshow shirt that comes in three different colors with different color bows…and is honestly a steal of a price. So so adorable. Especially with my Mon Tissu Lou Lou jeans that I am getting teased about because of my obsession with them. I can’t help it! They are pure awesome. The chair, dog bed and side table are Cheeky Pea’s contribution to the event and they are very aptly named…Doris’ Night in. Oh, I should explain…the theme of the event is Anti Valentine. So, maybe Doris was stuck home on Valentine’s Day? Bummer but the set is awesome with different sits and choice of texture for the chair.

I am so picky about long skirts. Very picky. Bounce nails it with this release for CHIC Limited. Very cute. Very flowy. Very right. The tank top has such a cute design to it, I really like how it isn’t your typical undershirt…but the bolero…the bolero makes me happy. It is so well made. Everything from the cuffs, to the buttons to how well it is made. Perfect. Total score for Bounce.

Iki of Dutch Touch released Maan V2 this past week and while I thought the original was gorgeous…this one is even prettier. I know! Who knew it was possible? Soft, pretty and gorgeous shading. Typical Iki.

I tp’ed over to DeeTalez to check out some of their new stuff and I spent way too many Lindens. Way. Too. Many. Totally worth it though. I am loving what I brought home with me. It is all well made, easy to fit (which is a huge huge plus for me) and very pretty. The range of styles there is huge. Tons to choose from, regardless of what your style is.

I <3 Originals Fair is opening on the 5th, lasting through the 13th of February and it is full of good stuffs to buy.  The fair is devoted to promoting SL content creators and offering some solid information on intellectual property rights in the process!  The fair will feature 46 of Second Life’s most creative designers – particularly, content creators who offer work that is free of copyright, trademark, and trade dress violations.

I was able to get past the guards at the door and shop a bit before everyone is allowed in on the 5th and there were so so many pretty things to buy. I may have went a wee bit crazy. I am wearing some of my favorites Apanage, Caroline’s Jewelry, Croire, and last but not least, Vanitas Vesture.

Aside from beautiful things to buy, a hunt AND a photo contest – they also have quite a list of events.

A lot of the country seems to be freezing, frozen or covered in snow. Over here in the PAC NW, it is actually not too bad.  A bit cold but no snow right now. *knock on wood*

Dutch Touch released a whole lot of new basics and I am crazy about the knitted jumper tops. Verrrry cute. You can layer to your hearts content or you can be all sorts of sexiness and wear it with nothing under. I am modest (cough) and paired it two of her other tops for each picture.  The shoes in the pic above are the newest boots from Ducknipple and they are pure heaven. If you look closely you can see just how well made they are. I have to admit I don’t usually think of DN with shoes but yeah, these are awesome.

I am still swooning over the latest Gos Curvaceous boots. I am a complete boot snob and I blame Gos. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.
