The anxiety…omg the anxiety. I needed those boots…that skin…those sweaters and skybox. Was it going to happen? Well, it sorta of did.
Glam Affair Nina…I may not take off for at least two days. Possibly three. Straight. That is huge for me. HUGE. I will even wear it weekly. Oh yeah. I may be growing up and embracing skin commitment. Or not. Right now though, loving Nina with the best red lips in SL.
Surf Couture Paperboy Ankle Boots were on the top of my MUST BUY list, so when I finally was able to tp in to One Eleven, I was on a mission and they were my very first purchase. So not disappointed. Excellent work, and the texturing is gorgeous. Typical Emma Gilmour work…lovely. The adorable dress I am wearing is also from One Eleven and the work of W&B. Very cute, awesome shading and a must have. I am not wearing all I was able to purchase but let me tell you…worth it. So cute and well made. These designers really put their all into their items. I hope you guys are able to tp over there and be one of the 111.
Oh and the skybox I wanted? Didn’t happen…so to make up for my sadness I had a piece of pumpkin pie. Okay, I had two pieces!

Holidays have always been a huge deal in my family. Tons of food, music playing from sunrise till way past sunset. Tons of relatives and always..always a lot of laughing. Now, they are a bit more quiet…a lot less food but the music and laughing? Always.

It is snowing in my little corner of the world so I wanted nothing more than to be all bundled up. I have also been feeling pretty lazy the entire weekend so….I asked my friend Rob Moonites, designer behind Fir & Mna and a sometimes fellow blogger to join me in some winter attire, in hopes of getting me motivated.
It only semi worked. I got sad when I realized that he looked better than I did. Whatever. I think it was bad lightening.
Are you asking yourself why if I was cold, my legs are bare? Good question, I will chose the answer as vanity. My outfit is one that I have had for a while but I adoreeee. It just looks like something warm, cozy and fun to wear when the weather starts to change. The boots are Bax and a staple in my wardrobe and for most women in SL. Just sweet and simple. Perfect for a lazy Sunday.
Oh and Rob? I am still miffed that he got ready in under 5 minutes AND looked better, but it is only fair to point down there and let you know where you can buy all he is wearing. No, I am teasing! Thanks to you Rob for helping me out…but next time let me be the cute one. Okay, thanks.

Dutch Touch Jolie v2 has not left my face since it was released. Yes, it was only yesterday but seriously…for me? Epic. I change my skins constantly throughout the day so one skin in 24 hours? Huge. Like all of Iki’s work it is just gorgeous. Let’s talk couverture skirts, I am adoring her skirts lately…so so cute. This tulle one fits amazing and I love how flowy flowish it is when I walk. Flowy Flowish – I think that is a perfect description.
Adorable GField Ruffle bolero along with their latest release of Little Diva flats…love. Aside from how well everything is made from GField – the prices are just..wow. Very reasonably priced. Very.

Nice, right? Variety of colors…and you cannot see them here because I am wearing the new and very scrumptious GOS boots, but there are also cuffs that look pretty good with flats. Or sneakers. It. Is. Finally. Friday.
I love the color red. It is so vibrant, so alive and full of passion. It is associated with love. It screams “look at me” and well, yeah… I wear it often. This red jacket is from Maitreya, it has been out for a bit but you know what? It is worth being blogged over…and over again. So if you don’t have it, go pick it up! I paired it with another older favorite of mine, the Brit pants from LeeZu. If this was real life they would be worn out and I would save them only for special occasions now. By special occasions, I mean going to the local brew pub and having a drink with Sky. Oh and my boots? I may have mentioned that the new Courtisane boots equal love, right?
Truth released four styles this week, and one is or should I say was for the guys. Well, like the sweatshirts and socks I steal from my husband…I am claiming this style for myself. It’s perfect for us girls too. Don’t you agree?

It has come to my attention that there was an error on our part in the most recent issue of Second Style Magazine.
Sometimes along the way of putting a magazine together, there will be a few details left out or maybe even a mistake made. We work very hard to insure that does not happen but sometimes it cannot be helped.
It is unfortunate that we did not give proper credit in our Style Icon piece for our November issue to the dynamic photographer who took the images, Takeshi Kiama.

While American Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated internationally (obviously), we wanted to do a spin off on what the meaning behind the holiday is – Giving thanks. Second Style’s staff has so much to be thankful for, and as you will see in the following pages we’ve found a stylish way to express it.
In this our 41st issue some of the highlights are James’ amazing spread Slisterwives, is a *very* unique Thanksgiving dinner, of sorts, While Elysium takes a more direct approach and reaches out to the women who are most important her her Second Life.

You can also find a lovely Thanks from both Rylan Carling and Alicia Chenaux, not only to their loved ones but to the amazing creators who provide us with all that is the basis of our magazine.
Sophia Harlow’s Style Icon this month is Carissa Crimson, and they had a very intimate chat about what makes Carissa such a staple in the Fashion world. I snuck in a little bit of accessory must have, in some nice turquoise tones, with will accent all your warm fallwear, amd Fayne was kind enough to share with us a slightly more well known Fresh Face.
We are also very excited to announce the addition of Makenzie Irling to our growing staff! Kenzie is reaching out to our budget conscious readers, and showing both the men and women some practical ways to stretch their wardrobes.

I asked my husband tonight if he reads my fashion blogs and he said that they are all about girl clothes, so he just looks at the pictures. Fair enough. So in honor of his honesty, I will keep this blog short and not too wordy.
Glam Affair released a new skin, Eva, and I am a definite fan. I added a few tattoo layers, dimples and a beauty mark…love. My outfit is from a few of my favorite stores, the skirt is from Coco’s which I am pretty sure I own everything from there. It is just so so well made and I love the variety. The stole is from DP yumyum and I cannot wait to try it on with a pair of jeans, simple tanktop and boots. What boots? Ohhh, I am so glad you asked! Lemme show you.
