Second Style Island is very excited to announce a special month long event called Winter Market. We will have dozens of market stalls set up around the perimeter of our newly winterized park, each one with an allowance of 25 prims. All the items on the stalls will be 100L$ or less!!
Best of all, you don’t have to be a Second Style renter to participate in this event!

Glitterati has some new very awesome prop sets that have just been released. I thought I would show off one of the two…
Nine gemstones…ten different poses and it all comes together. So reasonably priced and you have a choice of glowy gemstones or non glowy. I picked the non glowy…and I adore them. I picked the red stone, that she named garnet because rubies are my very favorite stone, so I am pretending I am sitting on a huge ruby.
The skin that I am wearing is the brand new, just released today []::Tuli::[] Audrey and she is just gorgeous, seriously…go fatpack!
Oh like what I am wearing? Blowpop lingerie…some of my favorite on the entire grid. So so well made…beautifully textured.
I say every single week that the new Truth hair released is my favorite and it typically is. This week though..this release will be my favorite for weeks and months. I adore all of them. If you haven’t seen them yet..make sure to go take a peek.

I truly believe that happiness can light you up from the inside out. Well, who doesn’t believe that right? So if this is true…and I know it is, I am all sorts of lit up right now with these shoes from Gos. Have you seen them on the feeds? A few times? Well, that is okay because the verdict is in and they are delicious and need to be seen often. That’s right, I said delicious!
[Gos] Espadrilles are pretty rad. You can buy them a few different ways…you can buy one color and leave it at that (booooo, how could you pick?), or you can buy one color and then pick out your fave color updaters which as you can see in the picture above are the adorable spools of ribbon that you simply wear and click – Viola! Your shoes are color updated. Or you can just cut to the chase and fatpack. Tons and tons of color options with the awesome little blue drop down menu of color love. Seriously..tons. You can change the bow in the front, the ribbon, the toe, the heel…all of it once you buy different color updaters. Buy them and go just buck wild making them as colorful as you like.
The skins I am wearing in both pics are by Mynerva and I well… I love them. In my rl I don’t have many freckles just a light sprinkling over my nose that you have be verrrry close to see, so I love freckled skins in SL. The features on these skins are lovely, and the lips…yep, kissable.

Sweetest Goodbye is one of those stores that I love everything from it enough for it to be worth having to spend a bit of time working out the prims to fit correctly. I won’t fib and say this top was easy for me to fit, but it was worth it. It comes with two different bra options…one a bit more sultry and one that is a tad bit girl next door. Pending the girl who lives next door to you walks around wearing very revealing shirts. Hey, you never know!
The skirt is from Leezu and the one I am showing doesn’t have the belt but they come in a four pack with the options of no belt, brown belt, white or beige. I am really really picky about denim skirts because the prim piece in the front can make me insane if it doesn’t blend well. I am pretty happy with these…very good blendage. Is that a word? Okay it is now. Oh and while they come in a four pack…very reasonably priced.
I was sitting at work yesterday…minding my own business..getting through the day when I received an email alert from SL that made me very happy. What did it say? It saidddd that Dutch Touch just released a new skin. EEEEEeee!!! I know, right? !!! I could not wait to log in to check it out. It was love…XAYA …you sweet little skin you. I love you every bit of you and let me list some of the reasons; four options of skin tones (cream, caramel, olive and cocoa) because each pack comes with an option of freckles, hair, base, eyelashes and ten glorious makeups, PLUS 4 exclusive specially priced skins for VIP members , and even more options! Well..you are perfect. No seams. Your sweet button nose, the new lips that are delicious and full…the …yeah. I love it. Iki scored another huge win with this one. Huge.
I won’t go through all the makeups but below are some of my faves. Okay that isn’t true, I love all of them..below are the four I had enough patience to take pictures of while SL kept crashing on me. Don’t pay attention to the sizes of the images…pretend they are all perfectly the same size and well…yeah, just focus on the gorgeousness of XAYA. <3

It is scorching hot in my little part of of the world. So flippin’ hot I can barely stand to put clothes on but since I do not want to be arrested…I am wearing a lot of shorts and cute tops. I thought I would share with you guys a few of my fave SL shorts.
These awesome white shorts are new from Indrya Originals and I do believe I need them in rl. Typical of Indy’s designs, these are very well made and they move great for poses, walking and crazy AO stands. The prim pockets and buckle thingies are a pure win. I am a huge fan of hers and have been for a long time, she really is a true artist in every life. If you have not been to her store in a while…gooo…she has a lot of really cool things out. The top is actually a 30L item from *MIU’s gatcha and so so cute. I wanted to get all of them but I was distracted by ice cream so I need to go ba ck and get the rest. The shoes are the latest from LeLutka and while I am sure you may have seen them on the feed…maybe once or twice. Skin is the heavenly Taylor from League…I cannot get enough of her.
More stuff from Miu. This outfit is going to go into my heavy outfit rotation. It is bright, cheerful and I loves it. Perfect for summer. The little balls on the end are my fave part…very cute. Go check out all the different colors and I dare you to buy only one!! Skin is from Pink Fuel and I love how sweet the face is…the lips are suckable.
A few weeks ago I went to see my friend Ara and she had the sweetest skin on, the lips were all pouty and glossy…
I am not ashamed to say I wanted to smooch her. Don’t worry, I didn’t but it was tough to resist!! While I adore skins I have not tried Lara and the reason for it is too lame to share. BUT, today I went to go check them out and it took me about 2 seconds to decide to fatpack. I loved it so much I tp’ed to show Ali and forgot I was naked. Whoops.
Oh, the outfit… the shirt is from where? Miu! Shocking, right? I can’t believe I have never been there before today. Don’t worry I made up for lost time and bought um…just about everything. Love. The shorts are from Dekade and I doubt I will be taking them off very much over the next week or two, unless it is just to change to a different color.

I felt kind of dark today…not really in the mood for bright colors or even for small talk. You know the mood I am talking about, right? The kind of mood that will do nothing but end with me in trouble…good or bad trouble is yet to be determined, but trouble nonetheless. What fit my smoldering mood? Well, Plastik of course.
Aikea Rieko the designer behind Plastik does dark, sexy and designs that scream trouble better than most on the grid. Her lines are clean, I am hard pressed to find unsightly seams, she give you tons of layer options, actually tons of layers…period. She gives you so so many options and you all know how much I freaking love options. There is zero reason why anyone should not have something (or everything) from Plastik in their inventory!
The skin I am wearing in the 2nd picture and third is the new Cupcakes skin; DAHLIA. I started this blog wearing my go to skin, Dutch Touch (adore adore adore) but when I logged in this afternoon to finish this, I had these lovely skins waiting for me. I had no choice but to take new pics to show off the skin. The makeup is sublime…sweet to very steamy hot, which I really like. There are four skin tones, and 18 makeups. Oh, and another thing I love about this new line..the eyebrows. In the past, Cupcakes eyebrows have occasionally made me a bit hesitant to wear them but not anymore. Tintable eyebrows!! LOVE

Neferia Abel was enough of a love to share her entire new Summer release from L’Abel with me a bit early. It is utterly diverse, you have summer dresses, shorts, tank tops, but you also have the elegant designs that have become synonymous with Nef’s name. Elegant, clean lines and beautiful texturing.

I love bright colors…the brighter, the bolder- the better. Plum is one of my faves, especially in lingerie. Now, let me just say that I rarely wear lingerie in SL because…well, there is no one to see me in it. Don’t feel sorry for me, I do have a lingerie audience in that other life I lead.
This lovely set is from Phoenix Rising and it is so lush and rich looking. Ashoka really does an awesome job with lingerie…when she dropped it on me she mentioned that since this is SL, I can wear it anywhere. So true. Now if I only I had the nerve to do so. <3 I am being a bit of a tease though, because it is not available quite yet..but be patient..it will be worth it.
The gorgeous skin I am wearing is the Gina 02 skin from Tuli that is a Dressing Room exclusive! Last time it was Gina01, which was in for two weeks. I think this one is up now…go take a look and pick up the newness.

I am sure that most of us have been bullied in either our RL or SL (or very likely in both), so I’m sure it is no surprise to any of us how physically and emotionally damaging bullying can be. There have been times in my RL when I just wanted to run away from home and never be seen again simply to escape persecution for being the smart kid in class. Likewise, there have been MANY times in my SL when I wanted to click that tempting “X” in the corner, erase anything and everything SL-related on my laptop, and never look back. To be honest, I am not sure I will ever understand how people can find it so easy to create targets (most likely out of boredom and their own insecurities) and obsess over punishing them for their perceived flaws.
Caroline Apollo of Caroline’s Jewelry has made a beautiful set of jewelry for Second Style Island group members.
