I’ve been so busy with all this holiday shopping, but I just couldn’t forget to stop by SLShopper.com and see what new things were there to behold.

My new favorite thing this week is this Elan dress from Adam n Eve. As always, the quality is top notch and it comes in a variety of colors. But take another look at this ad… this isn’t just any formal. Elan comes with three different skirt types which make it perfect for just about anything. Not sure you like it? Tis the season for all things holiday, right? Which naturally means, tis the season for antlers. When I saw these Reindeer Antlers from Kitten’s Litter, I had to laugh. She modeled them after the plush antlers designed for pets, and advertises them “so now you can join your pet in humiliation…”. Personally, I don’t find them humiliating, but then again my cats would never allow me to put such a thing on their heads.

My final pick for this week are these nearly free Black Ballet Flats from AI Design Studios. Not only did I get these cute little shoes for just 1L, but inside the package, I also found a free leopard ring and bracelet set and a free celtic ring. That’s a pretty good bargain as far as I’m concerned.

It’s as busy as ever over at SLShopper.com and I have been having a blast this week shopping the grid from these classifieds. It was just the thing I needed to snap out of last week’s turkey induced stupor. But don’t let me ramble about it, take a look for yourself!

Some people love animal prints, others love polka dots… but I love cherries. So when these adorable Deanna lingerie sets came out from artilleri, you know I just couldn’t stay away. (Although please note, they come in all three!) The detailing on these is fantastic, as always. I’m especially impressed with the smooth way the straps lay and the detailed clasp in the back.

After I settled on some lingerie, I saw these very classy Winter Wonder dresses from Aphrodite. At first the dramatic hat caught my eye, but then I noticed the great fabric texture. And everyone should be happy that the skirt comes in three different styles to suit every need. Plus, all the skirts have scripts built in so they adjust for sitting and other poses. I feel like a proper lady taking a winter stroll in this rich outfit.

Later I found this gorgeous Wooden Necklace Set from Cailyn’s. The set comes with a necklace, chunky bangle bracelet, and earrings all to match. And it’s no secret I’m a gal who loves to match. But I also love the realistic texturing on these pieces and just the overall style of them.

If it’s more formal jewelry you need, check out this Black Tie Pearl set from Argyle Boutique. Pearls are always a classic and these triple stranded necklace and bracelets are no exception. But these pieces have the added detail of a little black satin bow for a clasp. I fell in love with the attention to detail and can’t wait to wear them for the winter formal season!

But I can never stay too formal for too long, and I can almost never resist the lure of cute little pigtails. Especially not when they look as good as Babycakes from Tami McCoy. These are definitely not new to the grid, but they’re new to SLShopper.com so I get to talk about them now. With just the right amount of flexi, these little piggies are full of spunk and sass. And the optional flexi color change ribbon that comes with them lets them match any outfit you may own. I think they’re perfect for getting comfortable after a long night in that formal wear.

Well the US holidays have made me run late this week, and it will be a short roundup as I am still caught up in the madness. But there are a few things on SLShopper.com this week that were just too good not to show you, despite everything to be done!

First I found this adorable Ayasi Necklace from Curious Kitties. The prim work is nice and delicate and the necklace comes in eight different colors to match anything in your wardrobe. I like the contrast of the diamond and round shapes on this especially. The necklace is very well constructed and definitely worth checking out.

I don’t know about where you live, but here it’s getting colder and I want to bundle up. The perfect accessory for those cold winter days is the Emily Fringe Scarf from Argyle Boutique. It’s no secret that I love this shop, but I really do love this scarf too! The patchwork velvet patterns make this scarf go with just about anything, and I love the black fringe details.

Speaking of cold weather, how could I not mention the Czarina Fur Cloak from Ookami Ningen? The flexi fur collar makes this cloak look nice and toasty. But also, the cloak was designed to be open in the front to display whatever gorgeous dress you can layer underneath it. This is the perfect piece for the winter formal season.

First up is the cute Sweetheart Cardigan Sweater from Little Rebel Designs. It comes as both a plain cardigan, or with the heart clasp shown here. I think the little chain and heart clasp makes this cardigan really special, and an excellent top to go with almost anything.

Then I saw this great little cocktail dress from Relika. The Golddigger Cocktail Dress comes in five shades and you’ll love the metallic shine to them. Each color comes with a prim skirt and waist bow, but my favorite way to wear it is with the system skirt and prim bow around the waist. You can check it out for yourself to decide if you agree.

Now usually I am not a big fan of wings, but I find it hard not to be a fan of anything made by Siyu Suen. These Angel Wings from Illusions are a perfect example why. They come is a variety of colors, although I think the phoenix pack is my favorite. And each pair of wings comes in a folded and unfolded version.

As the weather gets colder for me in real life, winter clothes get more fun for me in my second life. That’s why I was so thrilled to see these Natasha Boots from Insolence. I love the detailing on these sculpted boots and think they are the perfect thing for short skirts in the winter. After all, we have to keep those legs covered somehow, right?

Who said boots have to be tall though, right? For instance, these Sculpted Grady Boots from Pixel Mode are ankle boots that are perfect for pants. The prim detailing on these is fantastic. from the chair around the ankle to the lacing up the back, you can see how much love went into these.

First I saw these Fall Beaded Bracelets from Imperial Elegance. I love the textures on these big chunky beads and the simplicity of these bracelets. Plus, they come in a pack with everything seen here and are a total steal for the price.

The next thing to catch my eye was a new set of poses from Reel Expressions. The High Fashion Series 4 set of poses is everything I’ve come to expect from Luth . I am a long time fan of her poses and promptly had to have these for my very own. As always, the poses are natural looking and don’t distort the lines of your clothing, which makes them perfect for modeling.

Then I found these great new maryjane pumps from Tesla. Tesla shoes are consistently high quality and these Elise heels are no exception. The only thing different about them is that they are completely free! Honestly, that’s a deal no one can turn down. After picking up those shoes I needed something to wear them with, so it’s a good thing Ivalde had some new releases. My favorite is the Marilyn Wiggle Dress shown here. The realistic textures make this wrap dress look like a perfect fit on any avatar and the flexi sash just makes the outfit.

It’s been another busy week over at SLShopper.com and I’ve been having fun shopping the classifieds. This week has been full of freebies and Halloween, and even some Halloween freebies, among other things. Take a look at what I found.

Okay, so this is neither free nor Halloween related, but it is really cute! elDee is a relatively new store and this November babydoll dress is an even newer offering. I will warn you that’s it’s very short, but it covers everything that I need covered and I’m a fairly modest gal. I love the textures, especially the belt on each dress. And the flexi skirt is a little bit different and lots of fun. In addition to the green, it comes in a black and white version and a purple and green one.

Viva is a new to me store and these frog flat shoes are a perfect introduction. These are a freebie, but be sure to look around once you get there. Not only are there other animal flats but there are lots of other great (and slightly less whimsical) shoes as well. I’m sort of attached to the frog shoes though, I have to admit.

Now this is both a freebie and Halloween-themed! And trust me when I say these Free Halloween Eyes are perfect for the holiday. They come in 4 fun colors with bat, witch, ghost, and pumpkin shadows. Not many people know this, but I have been on a search for the perfect 50s poodle skirt costume for ages now. And this week, I finally found it! Meet Sandy from Ivalde. The skirt and blouse both come in poodle and non-poodle versions so you can pick your level of 50s kitsch with this outfit. And it comes in black, pink, red, and yellow. Anyone care to come to the sock hop with me?

When I saw this Chiquita costume by Total Betty, I knew I couldn’t resist showing it to all of you. Seriously, how can you look at this and not smile? From the banana leaf skirt to the pineapple earrings, this is simply adorable. And of course, no Chiquita costume would be complete without a fruit bowl hat. There is even a little dance thrown in for free to make this loads of fun.

First up this week is an entire collection called College Bound by Total Betty. Honestly when I saw this I was overwhelmed by all the options. Be prepared to spend some time when you visit her shop picking out your favorite pieces and colors, and pick up several different pieces for mixing and matching fun.

So last week I let out that I liked the hooded items, and this week what appears on SLShopper.com but this gorgeous Hooded Jacket from sf designs. I simply adore the flexi fur on the collar and cuffs of this jacket. Plus the jacket itself comes in a zipped up version, and a slightly less modest partially unzipped one. As if that isn’t enough, it also comes with the mini skirt shown in the picture.

Dakota Buck at Savvy? strikes again with more additions to her Feel Rich line. This outfit is called Ghosts Are and continues with the same dark rich feel as the rest of her collection. The sexy sheer top just barely covers you up but still manages to look modest in this outfit. I also love the detail of the prim belt that comes with it. Like the outfit but prefer pants? Check out her companion set Good Company. (How can you not love the names?)

Melanie Zhao has done it again with her Miabella shoes. I loved the originals because of the great style and the color changing ribbons on the shoe. But the latest Miabellas are even a step beyond that with a HUD to let you control the shoe’s options. You really need to try it for yourself to see how well it works.

Last but never least are the Diva heels by TESLA. TESLA is my queen of sculptie shoes and the Diva heels are no exception. These are platform lace-up heels that will fit right into your inventory and match all your favorite things. You really need to look at the level of detail too. I love the perfect little bow tied on each shoe.

This season I have developed an attachment to hooded items, so when Maitreya released their Hooded Jam Sweater, I was ready. The hood itself is sculptie for added realism and the textures are everything you’d expect from Maitreya. Worried about your hair poking through the hood? No problem! Maitreya has also released the Jam Hood with add-on hair to cure all your prim adjustment woes.

Maitreya is not just about tops though. Check out these Sassy Sculpted Wedges Onyx is offering as well. There are demos to try on in her shop, but I’m confident you’ll love them as much as I do. As I said before, the textures are excellent and these shoes are very realistic. My only complaint is that they’re not in my RL inventory as well!

While we’re on the topic of shoes, check out these Arme Sculpted Boots from Adam n Eve. Damen Gorilla has outdone himself with these buckled beauties. To me, they are just thing thing as the weather (for me) gets cooler. The detail work on the buckles is fantastic, although I’d expect no less from Adam n Eve.

On a completely different note, you should definitely check out all the new dresses from Mimi Coral. Her shop has some adorable new offerings, but there just isn’t enough space here to list them all. My particular favorite is the brown lace dress, pictured here second in from the right. Mimi also offers excellent customer service, which makes her shop completely irresistible to me!

I’d like to round off my round up this week with some new hair. Now I am a known hair addict, so when I heard Bossa Nova was getting into the hair business, I had to see for myself. Of the three styles that were released, this Lydia hair is my favorite. The thick over-the-shoulder braid is very well done and the textures are great. I recommend everyone stop by Bossa Nova and support Moire in her first hair release.

Coats seem to be all the rage right now according to StyleCast, so it was no surprise to me when I saw this offering from Ivalde this week. The Vera coat has the sweetest touches, right down to the flower on the matching hat. I can just imagine wearing this to a skating party once the weather gets a little bit colder.

Insolence has taken the shoe market by storm with their latest offering. We’ve known them for their lingerie for quite some time, but these Elise shoes are expanding their horizons. I love the detailing on these. If you can zoom in close enough, you can see the individual stitches along each strap.

Not to be outdone, Tesla has released the Analise boot. These are a simple and sleek design that will go with everything from pants to dresses and in between. As with all of her shoes, Tesla puts the sculptie prims to good use here, making a boot that is both fashionable and realistic.

Adam N Eve has released yet another gorgeous gown to add to their collection, the Rose gown. Sachi is very proud of this particular gown and it’s easy to see why. With the plunging neckline both front and back it’s definitely sexy. And it comes in eight colors of richly textured fabric. I have it on good authority that the pink is Sachi’s personal favorite, and I have to admit it’s mine as well.

Last but never least, I found Savvy?’s latest release, the “Feel Rich” collection. I couldn’t blog the entire collection, but I also couldn’t pick just one favorite! So here are two pieces of the collection. On top is the Little Black Ache dress. This is the perfect little black dress for any occasion. It can be dressed up or down, and it even has two sizes of the prim skirt to make fitting easy for everyone. As with all of her releases, Dakota includes the pieces on as many layers as possible to accommodate your wardrobe needs. My other favorite from this collection is Dakota’s first jewelry, the Repairs necklace. It comes in two metals and a few different colors, and goes with so many different looks. I’ve been having a great time mixing it with all kinds of different things in my inventory.

This week was all about the cute little dresses for me. for instance check out these two soft, romantic dresses released by Ivalde. Selena makes me feel like I’m heading for a high school dance in the 50s, especially because of the delicate tulle arm prims which really make the dress for me. And Santina comes in the both knee and full length with fantastic sculpted sleeves. Both are soft and romantic, and both are guaranteed to make you feel feminine. If you’ve never checked out Ivalde’s shop, now is the time.

Not to be outdone, this Cute Lolita Dress was released this week as well. While the style is completely different from Ivalde’s creations, this dress also has the attention to detail that makes it so lovely. I especially like the lace edging on the collar, cuffs, and hem line here.

Now tell me the truth… who can resist free dresses? Not me. This week Bossa Nova put out this freebie in their store and I picked it up, of course. The quality is everything we have come to expect from Bossa Nova along with the retro flair. The simple Lucia dress comes in two colors and could easily fit in with your next semi-formal function. I recommend you get over to pick up this dress, and check out the rest of the shop while you’re there.

It wasn’t all dresses for me this week though. For example, I found these lovely sculptie heels as well. Called Leather Vixens, these really live up to their name. They come in too many colors to mention and will go with just about everything in your wardrobe. The sculptie prims in these shoes really make them look very realistic, and I can picture them sitting in a designer shop somewhere in real life. Here in Second Life, all you have to do is follow the slurl from their ad on SLShopper.com to get your own pair though.

Last but not least are the new Clarissa skins from Adam n Eve. These skins are “no frills” meaning they come with just the skin and no extra options. But they also have a lower price tag than Adam n Eve’s usual offerings. Don’t let the explanation fool you though. These are still the quality you would expect in any of their other skins and are flattering on a wide variety of shapes.

This is the first in a weekly series of the best of the best over at SLShopper.com. I found a ton of great stuff over there, but I was immediately and totally smitten with the Animal Ear Hoodies by Curious Kitties. The jacket itself is a bit loose for that casual feel but the best part is, of course, the sculptie hood with animal ears. It comes with the option to wear the hood up or down, so it doesn’t even have to conflict with your hair.

Also new this week is an outfit called Tabitha by Vitamin Ci. It is made up of a lush long-sleeved sweater with a square neckline and matching pinstripe black pants with prim leg attachments. My favorite is the red, but it also comes in electric (blue), brown, gray, purple, and sage.

I thought the Tabitha outfit looked especially cute with these Chloe Sculpted Flats from Lassitude and Ennui. These are a great use of sculptie prims and fit your feet very closely. Each set comes with three different sizes too, so your feet don’t have to be size 0 if you don’t want them to be. They come in 14 colors but I had to have the vamp version, as every woman needs a great pair of red shoes.

And last but definitely not least is this adorable choker from Charmed. The Initially Yours Cameo comes with just one necklace which allows you to change the initial on it with a script. Plus, it’s modifiable so you can tint the ribbon to match any outfit you own. I am in love with all the intial items I’m seeing around right now, so I was thrilled to see this item.
