We’re back, and better than ever!
Our February issue will not be all candy hearts and flowers. We’ve found some clever ways to give you lots of looks for you, your home, and possibly your loved ones, without any sort of lovey dovey overkill.
To decorate your home, Kenzie has stepped in for Jennaa for our 43rd issue’s Fashionable Furnishings, giving us a home that will fill up your heart with warmth and send you shopping. Kenzie has also kept up with her Take Two, giving the girls AND boys some looks you can take right to the bed!
Ely’s all new Fantasy spread gives us a look at a very unusual love affair, meanwhile Ry has taken us on destination this month, for a very romantic Valentine getaway idea. While we are thinking about love – Fayne’s Fresh Faces is featuring the love child new store: Mon Tissu, you won’t want to miss that read and interview with the brilliant duo.
James’ Bleeding edge as well as his February photo spread stray from the pink and red that you might have been expecting, giving us some extraordinary visuals, the later still romantically inspired in a unique way. To celebrate some of the month’s other fun events our guest photographer Rosenrot Nemeth is taking us on a walk down the red carpet in a tribute to award shows.
Ali’s rounded things out in her Mini Guide’s clever jewelry picks, aimed at readers who are looking for something for their someone special, and I’ve also given you quite a few accessory suggestions that will sparkle and shine just like the apple of your eye in this month’s Editor’s Picks.
Finally, Sophia’s sharing yet another amazing interview with our February Second Style Icon – Kyoot’s Saeya Nyanda, and of course…we couldn’t leave the issue without a little bit of valentine’s lingerie with our gorgeous Gabby!

Because I’m still (always) filing and sorting my inventory, I keep coming across items I nabbed up but never got around to blogging. Luckily, it’s not difficult to work them into my color challenge submissions.
You’ve most likely already seen the !lamb and Clawtooth hair all over the feeds (and probably the Mon Tissu ‘Cottage Flats’ and ‘Cinch Sweater,’ too), but I thought a quick shout-out to the designers was warranted, anyway.
I get a good deal of my brown hair from !lamb, often rushing dramatically through Ms. Bellic’s doors for new releases without trying on demos or asking questions. It’s more than loyalty that keeps me going back time and again, though– it’s the consistently improving quality and inventive styles that have become a trademark of the brand. That same quality is what made me fall in love with this Clawtooth creation. Look at all those individual strands. I mean, for goodness sake– what’s not to love? You can almost feel the billowy texture just by looking at it.
I’d almost forgotten about my new booty shorts from **DP**yumyum (c’mon, you know you toss a pair on now and again, too) and I should probably admit that I also picked them up in a jean wash. You just never know.
Lastly, I wanted to flag my new Alphavillian glasses. Laika Saintlouis makes a pair of specks for pretty much every mood/look you can imagine. How have I not frequented the store before now?
I am notoriously inattentive. So I was at a loss over who to blog this week on Second Style when I thought, I’ll poke about Copley Square and see who my neighbors are. Maybe one of them will inspire me. I only had to walk as far as next door when I ran into Onyx Wear and his recent release of CUTE panties with matching nipple tape for each pair! I am typing this sitting next to a huge black stuffed gorilla that has a stuffed heart on his hand that says “Wild Thing”. Yep. I was bummed out about something so Sky bought this home in hopes it would cheer me up. I laughed a long time and named it Clementine.
Guess who is hitting the grid on Saturday with her new releases? Oh pfth, of course you know….it is all over the feeds. The lovely Neferia Abel is back in full force with a pretty huge release. She has a bit of everything but I am choosing to show you some of her very pretty black dresses.
So you know what this means right? That on Saturday…you are going to have to do some serious shopping when the doors open to L’Abel’s latest pretties.

Thank you, from the bottom of my little pixellated heart, to everyone who responded to my tantrums along the course of the Seasons Hunt with pointing fingers and whispers of, “Brig, the snowman is right there. In front of your face.” You’re all stellar.
Just a small sampling of my hunt treasures here (designated with the ‘SH’ label in the credits), including a nod at the variety of home items I picked up along the way. I love when hunts make my avatar AND my house more beautiful, even if I don’t love the way my inventory looks afterwards. Oy. It’s no wonder I only manage to do about one a year. This one is happening for another three days, so if you intend to do it, I suggested starting, like, ten minutes ago.
Finally, a little tease for you. For the first time in the nearly three years I’ve been in SL, I’m *finally* getting around to seriously upgrading my eyes. And what a fantastic upgrade it’s been. Along with the gacha ROZENA eyes I blogged about here, I’ve also adopted a lovely green pair made by Ikon Innovia. Ikon is on the brink of introducing his goods on Marketplace and eventually at an in-world shop which I plan to frequent and buy one of everything at. Why haven’t I thought of matching my eyes to my clothing before? So excited.
IM Ikon to tell him to hurry and open his doors and watch his blog for announcements.
It is nearly 2:30 am and I am still WIDE awake. Not good, but you know what is good? New Truth release! He released three but I am only going to show you one. Shush, I am really that lazy.
This Tegan style is adorableeeee, simple perfect as we have come to expect from Truth. Tp over to his store to check out the others or jump on marketplace and have it sent straight to you. Nothing better than convenience. Well, except Truth hair. <<33
I am not sure when Royal Blue released this Frou Frou skirt but I know I saw it and needed it asap. If you are impatient as I am, you like things to just fit with as minimal work as possible. This skirt fit almost perfect. Very minor adjusting. That to me screams win as much as the something being well made and adorable – which it also is. Totally recommend a trip to Royal Blue if you have not been there yet. I paired the skirt with a the Puppe top from Mimikir, which is part of an outfit but I just wore the shirt. I love the hint of orange that goes so well with the skirt. Love.
Okay, I think I am going to try to get some sleep. Wish me luck.

That stampede of stiletto’s and other impractical shoes was the rush of bloggers headed over to L’Abel to preview the gorgeous new collection of designs by Neferia Abel.
Not to be left out, I made my way over as quickly as I could get logged in yesterday and as always Nef has given us a collection from cocktail to casual that are sure to please lovers of classic lines and vintage inspired themes.
The Brielle cocktail gown comes in either gold or silver sequins. Obviously you need them both.
These gorgeous dresses are wonderfully complimented by the recently released jewelry from Donna Flora – Cleo, which features a stylized Cleopatra collar that’s suitable for a girl with a graceful neck. I’m always in love with Donna Flora’s releases and can seldom choose between her clothes OR her jewelry.
What can I say? I TOTALLY fangirl Squinternet. Shhh don’t tell her that.

Peqe is a new to me store full of really cute things, tons of cute things. Go check it out! The prices are uber affordable and the stuff is pretty well made. Totally worth a trip. Speaking of trip, Katey of Glitterati released more poses today and they are so effin cute. Katey gets better and better. Oh, and are you in her Glitterati group? There is a cost to join but she sends out gifts constantly. As in a lot of them. Join!

So, apparently there’s a bit of discord about what shade ‘taupe’ actually is.
If you’re doing the color challenge, take my advice: don’t bother doing a Google Image search for ‘taupe.’ Mine churned up photos of European Moles (like this, this, and this) that totally ruined my mood.
Just go with the color slide that Luna provides here.
I didn’t dress in all taupe because let’s face it– no one wants to look like they just dragged themselves out of a mud puddle. Tossing in some white, tan, and even that pop of red made a color I don’t typically wear much of a bit more palatable.

Kianna Noel is adorable. The first time I met her she was dressed like a detective for a hunt and it was just the cutest thing ever…she even had a briefcase. She isn’t just all about being adorable and very sweet though. The girl has some serious talent. Kianna is the designer behind AddiCt and today she hit the grid with a bunch of new gorgeous releases. Let me show some of them…
I am crazy about this jumper…and not just because it is named after my little beast, Aradia Dielli, but because it is made so well and while the buttons are an option, they are actually my favorite part. I can’t figure out who would wear it without them!
This dress…makes my boobs (yes, I said boobs) look epic. Should I need to add that the dress comes in gorgeous colors, is verrrry well made and the sleeves are to die for. Fine, I said it..but seriously – check out my rack. Go ahead, I won’t tell.
How cute is this sweater? Very. I paired it with her other new release, Nora jean shorts which I think I may never take off. Ever. Well, at least not until the next time I blog.
