I have to confess, it’s been quite some time since I donned a costume to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve. I usually opt for a dressy number and use the holiday as an excuse to enjoy some spooky fun of the formal variety, instead. Today’s offering is, appropriately, a set of two ‘do’s for the decorous Halloween festivities you find yourself popping by this evening.
A couple of things to note: R.icielli has some scrumptious new dresses out as part of their fall/winter collection, and there’s some Gacha machines at T*eefy that I guarantee will yield better delights than anything you collect in a plastic pumpkin tonight. I’m in love with the new headband I got there. Go. Now.
I don’t care if your friends are dressing up like the undead this evening, there’s no excuse not to look adorable yourself. Even if you’re not going out, you still want to look good carving your pumpkin, feasting on candy, and watching frightening flicks, right?

My outfit today? It is a partly selfish because I have no idea if the skirt is still available, but I wear it all the time. If it is still in the store…go snatch it up. It is so well made…and of course it is by Thora Charron, whom is very creative and does my favorite LeLutka designs.

I don’t know about you, but shopping for, assembling, and organizing my fall wardrobe has been a tad exhausting. I think we’ve all earned a treat, don’t you?
It’s time to top it all off with a delectable, savory dessert course in the form of a new fall jacket.
An autumn jacket doesn’t serve the same purpose as a winter one; it’s not meant to protect you from the harshest elements and doesn’t even have to cover you entirely. Your jacket is more like the sprinkles on top of your frozen yogurt, except that these sprinkles shield you a bit from the cool breeze blowing down that wooded path you like to take walks on.
Save practicality for winter, my friends, and step outside your comfort zone for fall. Grab a jacket in a snappy shade you won’t necessarily wear all year, and see what you think about a cut different than you usually choose. Big sashes, ties, and collars are anything but gaudy this year, so don’t shy away when you see them on the rack.
Your jacket is the last way for you to splurge a bit this fall, so for once, don’t listen to your mother’s advice about making a responsible (read: dull) choice when it comes to your outerwear.
Top things off with pizazz rather than with prudence. You totally deserve it.

I am not normally the kind of girl you can put in a box but since this is SL….
Sway Dench from Sway’s Design was sweet enough to send over one of her latest releases, swAyNimation – Art’Box and I love it. You have 10 choices of colors for inside the box, but I picked white for all three of my pics. You don’t have to be as boring as I am though! Go crazy with it..pick a pink, blue, purple, yellow, etc color! Also 6 different poses, not just the three I am showing.
Oh, let me tell you about my shorts. Kyoot has very cool micro pants with wide belts in different colors. You need these. So sexy. Speaking of sexy…someone please tell me why I have not been to DE in ages? What was I thinking? A few years ago, I used to go there pretty regularly and looking back…many of those things hold up in regards to how well made they are. The top I am wearing is the DE Roxy Leather Shirt and it screamed … YOU NEED ME…when I walked by it..so who am I to resist? I’m not.
Boots…Stellar makes very very cute winter boots. Did you think Lexi Morgan was all about the short skirts and hot ass outfits? WRONG. She makes boots, hair, jewelry, eyes, skins, shoes and makeup tattoo layers. Have you been to her newly remodeled sim? It is made to look like NYC and they did a….stellar job. Shush, don’t judge me.
