I am sure that most of us have been bullied in either our RL or SL (or very likely in both), so I’m sure it is no surprise to any of us how physically and emotionally damaging bullying can be.  There have been times in my RL when I just wanted to run away from home and never be seen again simply to escape persecution for being the smart kid in class.  Likewise, there have been MANY times in my SL when I wanted to click that tempting “X” in the corner, erase anything and everything SL-related on my laptop, and never look back.  To be honest, I am not sure I will ever understand how people can find it so easy to create targets (most likely out of boredom and their own insecurities) and obsess over punishing them for their perceived flaws.

Did you feel the ripple that shook the grid?  Tricky Boucher, of Belleza, released the newest female skin, Elle!  With more skin tones and brow tones available, Mr. Boucher outdid himself as he does with each new release.  The make up is soft and clean, elegant, and the body, as usual, gorgeous.  Thank you Mr. Boucher!   More new releases include corsets, like the one above, from ROOTS.  Extremely sexy, they come with or without the pasties, depending on how daring you want to be!  Oh!  And, can I just say, the new twist on TRUTH’sreleases with the tendrils…HOLY HOTNESS!  WOOT!  WOOT! Sometimes the in-between seasonal weather can be a pain.  You know… when you wake up in the morning, and it’s cold outside, but by lunch it’s scorching.  That’s how the weather is treating me in my neck of the woods.  So, I’m caught in the layering trap, and it can make it difficult to dress for the day.  But layering can also be fun.  I felt like throwing together a look that could be easily adjusted to adapt to cooler or warmer weather, so here ya go!

It’s Date Night with my little robot, Silo Uriza. However I’m here and he’s not. Fortunately I recently got my MY FACE phone from RC Cluster so I could dial him up and say GET OVER HERE NAO!

Robots have no sense of time.

I opted to go out on our date night in this gorgeous cocktail gown from the new spring line of Miamai, one of my favortie gown makers.
It’s elegant texturing made it a perfect choice for an evening out, especially if your date is made of metal.

The skirt moves and dances beautifully. It’s lovely and graceful.

 No matter what anyone says, everyone has a “style.”  It doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest releases, but each one of us has a tendency to lean toward clothes and looks that make us feel “comfortable” in whatever skin we are wearing.   Of course, no skin is better than Belleza(just sayin,) as proven here.  Sixx sexxies his look up with a pair of glasses from [GOS] and a simple black rosary from (luc.)  Guys, take it from a girlie, wear accessories and wear them well.  I’m not talking about “blinging” it up, please don’t.  Pick something that represents you, even a simple lip ring like this one from AITUI.  But, please…PLEASE, I beg of you…PLEASE, make sure that it fits properly.  There is nothing more annoying to see than a piece of jewelry completely out of place.    Read the rest of this entry »

I went for a simple, feminine look today because I just felt like being cute.  I’ve been busy, busy, busy working on Pose Fair posts for my own blog, and it was nice to slow down a little bit and just work on an outfit for a change.  I found this adorable new top, and I couldn’t wait to build a look around it.  Hope you like it!

I don’t know about you all, but I have that spring itch already.  It has crept up early this year and bit me on my bottom, I find myself eager to break away from my sweaters and scarves, which is pretty rare for me.  So to celebrate the incoming warmth and color, we’ve filled the pages of issue number 34 with some fantastic ideas to warm up your wardrobe.

In the full on Easter Spirit I cannot resist this beautiful holiday egg colored skirt and blouse from 5th and Oxford.  I was feeling full of so much Eastery Goodness that I had to go find a sim to hunt eggs. And what a surprise, they had other activities! Like HOPSCOTCH!

Am I overdressed to hunt eggs? Never! I had forgotten how much I like the Harlow tone of Exile Hair -but had to wear it for today, it’s gorgeous against this Belleza Skin. Now, I need more eggs!

I got 5 eggs. That’s pretty good for a girl in heels right? I think so!

In addition to the hunt, and the fun hopscotch there is a small village set up of Easter themed items here, and I did enjoy the Peep Show, I have to confess…..
