I stumbled upon another great find the other night when exploring places to find the perfect spot for a pic, THE Brooklyn Bridge! I am always so pleased with myself when I find a new sim to walk through and admire the creators’ efforts. This one is truly a great effort! I’m not really sure how true to reality this is, but that’s how they sold it and I totally bought it. I wanted something outside for the outfit I’m wearing, but I wasn’t really in the mood for “green” and “sunshine.” Something to match the Regrave boots and COCO belt, was more my style…and, I found it! YAY! OOPS! I squished it. I make no secret of the fact that I can’t keep plants alive at all in my house, but now it has transitioned into killing them in SL.  It’s not that I don’t like flowers, of course I do. We just don’t have a very healthy relationship together. *shrugs* So, when I saw this pose by Dove Swanson, of [LAP] I laughed and thought, this is perfect! And, what better shoe to stab a daisy with, than a Stilleto Moody heel? LOL! Read the rest of this entry »
It is definitely a lazy Sunday for me, and I felt like wearing something cute, casual, and comfy. More on the clothes in a minute, but I wanted to point out this awesome new sim, Morning Glory, which is really so pretty. It’s the new home of :: Awesome Blossom ::, Molto Bene!, and Olive Juice, and the scenery is very beautiful. So be sure to check it out!

Sometimes I like the challenge keeping mono-chromatics interesting. For me, the release of Lucy from Ingenue is a really a great example of a perfectly simple vintage party dress that you can do anything with.
I chose to do remarkably little, as I’m all post-partum and couldn’t be bothered to do my hair! Luckily Truth was there for me with some long hair I could just let blow in the wind.
I added this excellent necklace from GANKED and like DAMN how much do I like their jewelry? I keep going on about it. I can’t help it. SO much fun and creativity – I love everything I’ve put on so far!
I’m also wearing the new group gift skin which has surely saturated the feeds 10fold in the past few days I was off having the baby. So I figured you’d think I was being ironic if I wore it at this late date.
Kidding – I love it, it’s gorgeous. I’m going over later today to check out some of the makeups and see which I want. Loooove the look.
Sorry it’s a short one today fashionistas, I’m still recovering from surgery so hopefully I’ll be more full of vigor next week. Until then – have a GREAT weekend!

I found this adorable dress last night and couldn’t help but go a little bit crazy throwing this look together. I don’t usually assemble super-femme looks like this and actually wear them in-world for an extended period of time, but I found myself hesitant to take this one off because this dress is just absolutely perfect. It makes me feel like like twirling around or going dancing or something. Someone take me dancing so I have an excuse not to take this dress off, k?
