The recent release of Angelique from Ingenue is a celebration of old school foundation garments made uber sexy with some modern touches and textures. I love a real corset that cinches – there is something so sexy about getting laced up…..of course…..getting it off can be a task. 
This latest release combines the gorgeous lace up stylings of traditional corsets in the back, with 40s style hook and eye closures in the front for convenience. Plus the front panel is a classic print that even Playtex would be proud to us – which I think gives this some retro authenticity + massive points for the fetish enthusiasts.
It might seem blasphemous to mention fetish enthusiasts in the same post with the classic, graceful stylings of Ingenue – however, having worked over 10 years in RL in a branch of the fashion industry that revolved around “traditional foundation garments” lemme just say this, it isn’t just your grandma and retro enthusiasts gobbling up such stylish classic work. I promise.
And there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Available in four delicious colors – pictured above, it’d be hard to choose. I wore a neutral makeup set from PXL Creations – Grace in Coffee lips – and really – each color was gorgeously complimentary.
The wedding set is from EarthStones – the Destiny Bridal set – one of the most beautiful on the grid. It features a scripted option for engaged vs. bridal set – which is lovely I think.
