Second Style Magazine

I wanted to try something different today, and this look is a bit more rough around the edges than my usual garb.  I’m not a badass by any means nor in any life, so this outfit is a paradox of sorts.  But I wanted to experiment a little, and this look kind of came together on its own.

I have to admit that sometimes my outfit choices are clearly inspired by new releases.  And that’s exactly what happened with this one.  I just HAD to try these new Combat Shorts from *League*, but I didn’t expect to fall in love with them like I have.  The textures are absolutely amazing, and the details blow my mind.  I really love the belt and pockets, the shorts cuffs are superb, and the overall look is just flat out impressive.  I paired it with this sexy chemise top from Luck Inc., which sports a gorgeous lace detail that helps me retain a bit of my usual femininity in this particular look.  Then I added some cute socks from sey and these absolutely amazing Lace-Up Work Boots from *COCO*.  The boots are very well done, and I just love the way they look, especially with the rest of this ensemble.

For accessories, I decided to add a few touches, starting first with this awesome messenger bag from Aitui.  It’s a unisex item, so it came a bit big, but the resizer script made it a cinch to reduce to a more proportionate size.  Then I added this awesome cord wrap necklace from *~*Illusions*~*, which I reattached to the spine, and these awesome Rock’n'Rolla rosary beads from Naith Smit Designs.  This awesome tattoo from HUZ TATS seemed to be a natural progression in this look, and I’m not much of a tat girl, but I’m really digging this one.  And to finish it off, I chose this semi-messy Miley hairstyle from fri.day and a bold makeup from the Alyson skin line at -Belleza-.
