Today I felt like being a pretty girl and dressed it up a bit. I tend to lean more toward casual clothes most of the time, but occasionally I’ll get all dolled up and make an appearance somewhere. Although I’ll admit it’s pretty rare as I tend to be anti-social (don’t judge!). But my dress folder is bulging, so I might as well wear them, right?
I absolute love when I find pieces in my inventory that look like they came together as a set but actually didn’t. And they’re not even from the same designer. For some reason I just absolutely love the combination of this purple TweedShortJacket from AOHARU and this brownish/gold/black Lace Dress from {Lark}. The jacket’s gold trim is a perfect complement to the goldish hues in the dress, and both are very well made. I’m sure everyone has been to AOHARU at least once, but I bet there are a few out there who haven’t yet checked out the awesome items at {Lark}. I highly recommend you go… like NOW. The creator is extremely sweet, and I’m sure you’ll find something you love.
I kept it simple and paired the dress and jacket with some sheer pantyhose from X2 Exotica and my classic black Dalia Pumps from Armidi Gisaci. I had a hard time finding “true black” pumps, but these seem to fit the bill. To accessorize, I added this fantastic black scarf from SEY and my gorgeous Citrine and Pearl earrings from Paper Couture. Then I finished off the look with my awesome Alyson skin from -Belleza- and the ever-classy Witch hairstyle from !lamb.
