Second Style Magazine

Happy Sunday, everyone!  It was about time that I posted a casual look here, so I decided to do just that.  I rounded up a few new favorites and put them together for a fun, colorful, and relaxed look.  Then I ran over to butterdish to snap a few photos in this adorable rustic sim.  For some reason, this sim reminds me of homemade country bread and freshly churned butter.  Mmmmmm!

This look started with the amazing new Mods Coat from **DP**yumyum.  I absolutely love the gorgeous textures used in this coat, and the awesome amount of detail in the belt, buttons, pockets, hood, cuffs, and body is truly breathtaking.  My boobs caused a little problem when trying to fit the body and collar attachments, so I had to edit linked parts to get the buttons where I needed them to be.  It wasn’t difficult at all, just pay attention to the pieces you’re selecting, because the buttons are actually three separate parts.  So as long as you grab all three, you can easily edit the buttons to fit your curves.

I layered this adorable Wanna be a Cowgirl top from Tres Blah underneath the coat to sort of fit the mood of the sim.  I love the gorgeous texturing, and the bright color splash was just what the outfit needed.  Since I couldn’t wear the shirt’s cuffs because of the coat’s sleeves and cuffs, I decided to wear the gloves and hand cuffs from the red Thermal.Henley at fri.day, which added a great little detail and echoed the gorgeous red color in the shirt.  Then I added my favorite Hot Cocoa Stain jeans from Surf Couture, which are very nicely textured and add a great amount of depth to my worn-in look.  For shoes, I picked up these new dark chocolate Armarda boots from *Kookie*, which are absolutely stunning!  These boots are definitely must-haves!  They are beautifully textured and come with a legwarmers version, so I couldn’t resist sporting them.  And I LOVE this new Veruca 2 hairstyle from >TRUTH<, with its adorable texture-change barrettes, so I paired it with my new Alyson skin from -Belleza- and called it a day!
