Gravy is rarely acknowledged as the crucial condiment it is. At my Thanksgiving feast, diners of all ages jockey for as much gravy as possible; they hop from table to table to snatch abandoned gravy boats, dump a little more than really necessary onto their plates, and even exchange coarse words with whoever is unfortunate enough to polish off the pot.
Like my favorite turkey day topping, Brig’s gravy ensemble is warm, indulgent, and rich. Every piece chosen for this outfit is something that could serve as the perfect topping for another ‘do– a dainty headband, a chunky necklace, a loose-fitting sweater, classic leggings, and clunky cowgirl boots. Even if you can’t get your hands on them all (I can’t have all the gravy on the table, either), an extra drop or two here or there is, in my humble opinion, completely justifiable.
