Happy Halloween, friends!

Though I couldn’t have been more pleased with this spooky season’s in-world fashion offerings, I’ll be the first to admit I’m tired of seeing the same things over and over again as I scroll the various feeds. To give you a reprise from what’s become the norm and to pay tribute to one of my favorite holidays, I’ve gathered together a few pieces acquired from recent in-world events, hunts, and group gift boxes to create some ensembles you won’t see on the avatar next to you at tonight’s Halloween festivities.

I wanted to highlight [np]’s new graphic tee, the feathery skirt from LeLutka that will go well with my Designers United treasures, !lamb’s new hair, and, finally, the saucy jeans I found that, believe it or not, come in three different lengths– all falling off of your body.

It’s PUMPKIN TIME! RL Gidge is off to the mountains to procure some orange round goodness and I thought pixel Gidge shouldn’t miss out too! So I’m on location that THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH!

I’m wearing the gorgeous and luminous AIMESI skin – AMELY – in Caramel. I chose some great casual wear from Magi Take, which fits EVERYONE’S budget!

First and foremost, be excited, because Marie Lauridsen has done it again– she’s created more stunning pieces that you simply won’t be able to live without.

Marie’s crow collection has offered my fall wardrobe the edge and sophistication I almost didn’t realize it was lacking.  Watch for the upcoming release of her hair accessories, jewelry, tops, cape, and even two trees with flying crows to wear atop your head next time you’re feeling the slightest bit melancholy.  What I love best about Marie’s creations is that they’re genuinely imaginative; her pieces don’t have to be sensible to be what I consider wardrobe essentials.  Her work’s free-spiritedness and irregularity– that is, singularity from anyone else you’d find on the grid– keep me coming back to the store all the time to see what she’ll conjure up next.

The latest release from Sascha Frangilli will have you saying BOO as you crack the carriage length whip at everyone who dares make eye contact with you.

I mean seriously – this is some killer leather, don’t you think?

As with all good things froms Sascha’s Designs she likes to give you great options – such as long pants for a completely different yet no less hawt leather look.

There are so many different combinations of BOO that you can put together, I’d be hard pressed to show you all of them. I like the train with the short skirt though – very smexy.

The stockings come WITH – yay for including the details right? Are my seams straight?

I’m wearing Frick’s beautiful Pinup Brigitte skin in peach, and new Glow Eyes from PXL Creations – in FATE.

Socks

During what turned out to be a very enjoyable shopping soiree (watch for dozens of upcoming posts as I show off the spoils from the evening), my friend Kaylee and I were discussing the various merits of socks.  It occurred to me that one of the reasons I don’t loathe the approach of colder weather is because I relish wrapping my feet in soft, cottony socks.

You’ve seen Brig sport socks of various lengths, colors, textures, and patterns with her assorted outfits, but what you probably don’t know is that she really has a slightly scandalous love affair with them.  I’ve spared you the worst, but as the cooler weather continues to blow in, I find myself suiting Brig up in socks as often as I have to warm my own toes in RL.

Here I’ve got on a pair of Pig’s ‘Mit Suspenders.’  These socks look adorable with almost anything– boots, flats, and here with the expertly-crafted Maitreya leather heels that perfectly matched the shade of my berry-colored outfit.

A recent escapade on the Sunny sim yielded this delectable tank/skirt combo from (Elate!).  I love the scaly edging on the skirt because it’s unlike anything else I have in my wardrobe.  I layered up with another one of Anya Ohmai’s sweaters and topped it off with one of my favorite Miel scarves.

I had everything put together when I received the ::69:: group notice about Kumii’s newest creations and, naturally, had to have this hair.

The only bad thing about this ‘do is that I can’t grab it out of my screen to wear it in RL.  Blast.
