Is there anything more romantic than a weekend away together, when the romance is still all hot and delicious? People used to travel in style, travelling was important and not something everyone could do – so you dressed up. This was exactly what came to mind when I saw the release of Estelle from PRELUDE, a cozy boutique owned by Polaire Aeghin.
I was reminded of my first trip away with Silo – we went to Memphis. I spent hours painstakingly making sure shoes matched clothes, I had the right jewelry, that I packed the LONG WEAR lipstick. In short – to be elegant while travelling – at least as much as possible.
The deep rich textures of this dress, which comes in several colors, are more muted than jewel toned, but preserve the vintage styling Polaire was going for. I’ve added pearls from Bonita’s because I figured if I was dressing up to travel, I should break out the GOOD jewelry.
So where should one travel, in a virtual world? After all – there are so many places one could go to. I have a suggestion!
What about the Korova Milk Bar?
I went ON LOCATION to the Korova Milk Bar in the Kubric Rooms to show you the range you’ll find at Prelude – this little piece of candy is a Twiggy inspired summer dress that is available in a rainbow of fun colors. Polaire confided to me that you get the belt in EVERY color he made it because he kept getting them mixed up – then realized that they looked GREAT mixing them up and thought we’d all like the versatility! Thanks Polaire!
