Entry Three: 2:00 AM (from text)

Left club with ladies and small swarm of men in tow.  Pretended to be cold and got dark haired lad to lend me his coat (note to self, go get myself one just like it from *Curiosity* tomorrow).  Several suitors bickered about who would pay for my milkshake during stop at ice cream hut until I cleverly suggested they just both purchase me one.  Stuffing my face greedily with the treats now.  Ripped my stockings running across the street but got compliments on the tasty little red heels I borrowed from Adrina Welders. Trying not to think about how early I have to be up.

Socks won’t stay up but the sliding down my legs is worth it for the attention they draw.  Lost my clutch (again), but found abandoned set of bangles on the dance floor that I’m totally keeping.  Hair is a hot mess, but there’s still something to be said about it.  Witnessed cat fight next to the bar and cheered for the redhead because she’s wearing the same tie as I am.  Bouncer hauled the ladies out before the fight ended.  Blimey.

Entry One: 12:00 AM

Heading out to club with the girls.  Read on his blog that the handsome gent from last week is going there tonight, too.  Fairly certain that if I have to compete with that stale blonde for his attention again, my new heels will give me the upper hand.  Hoping my hair doesn’t fall out of its ponytail whilst dancing.

Sachi Vixen of Adam an Eve has brought us two completely casual but lovely summer outfits that are perfect for any casual date. Both Billie and Bobbie feature a lovely mini skirt and a soft textured collared shirt that gives both looks a nice finished look – you look super casual without being sloppy. The Windchime Earrings from Bliensen + Maitai lend a fun boho feel to the look.

A wonderful compliment to both looks is the fresh NEW skin from PXL Creations KIM – and she is NOW available for all of us pixel girls for a new summer look. I’m wearing the natural tone with the WINE lips.

I have never been much of a sandals girl on the grid, but these summery looks drove me over to Shiny Things where I knew I’d find something to compliment. I picked up two pair just for this shoot because I couldn’t decide! Yay fashion blogging as an excuse for shopping, eh?

I’ve slipped into jewelry from Earthstones for the second outfit – Sylvan – mother of pearl with Brass.

If you haven’t been to EarthStones recently, Abraxxa has some lovely news out as well which I highly recommend. All of her pieces are so versatile and unique, I do love her work.

Beauty Avatar Couture’s pieces always bring out the best and worst in Brig.  The barbarous battle for behavior is worth it, though, to experience the lovely sensation of slipping on the extraordinary creations you’ll find at the store.  If you’re not already on your way there, shame on you.

While you might readily run to Bare Rose for a Little Bo Beep Costume, or a Race Car Driver Costume, or some Ultra Modern Cyber Goth Punk Demon Princess outfit – did you ever consider turning your eye around the room to see what June has to offer in lingerie?
The beautiful thing about Bare Rose is that even if an outfit isn’t billed as lingerie – if you take a peek at the layers (for which they are famous) you’ll find that a lot of full outfits peel down into some smexy lingerie as well.

Like Alton BrownI like a multi-tasker. This baby-doll nightie set peels off the prim baby-doll to become a really lovely and femme lingerie set. More demure than some of the more typical “come hither” sort of lingerie you’ll find on the grid.

The socks are golden which slip under these stocking styled leggings for a contrasting look. Foot fetish anyone? My feet are golden!

Like the rest of the SL citizenry, I spent the last day or so battling horrendous lag, primless avatars, and large lollipops at the hair fair only to realize that every hairstyle has already appeared on a blog.  Rats.  

I couldn’t resist grabbing a few of the Maitreya styles though and, despite the obstacles, strongly encourage everyone to visit their stand and the hair fair writ large.  I was tickled by cocoro Lemon and Shayla McBride’s kindness in sending some items my way– go visit their respective stores immediately if you haven’t been, or haven’t been in a while– and used them to put together this playful little ensemble. Perfect for traipsing around the grid, don’t you think?

Is there anything more romantic than a weekend away together,  when the romance is still all hot and delicious? People used to travel in style, travelling was important and not something everyone could do – so you dressed up.  This was exactly what came to mind when I saw the release of Estelle from PRELUDE, a cozy boutique owned by Polaire Aeghin.

I was reminded of my first trip away with Silo – we went to Memphis. I spent hours painstakingly making sure shoes matched clothes, I had the right jewelry, that I packed the LONG WEAR lipstick. In short – to be elegant while travelling – at least as much as possible.

The deep rich textures of this dress, which comes in several colors, are more muted than jewel toned, but preserve the vintage styling Polaire was going for. I’ve added pearls from Bonita’s because I figured if I was dressing up to travel, I should break out the GOOD jewelry.

So where should one travel, in a virtual world? After all – there are so many places one could go to. I have a suggestion!
