30 Days of Skins: Day 2: Belleza

2

belleza_full.jpgWelcome to day 2 of the 30 glorious days of skins. Today  I’d like to feature a skin that is a new addition to my own personal wardrobe, aka inventory. The Belleza Belle in the medium tone. When I first saw these skins on a friend of mine, I knew I had to try it out. I like many things about the creations by Tricky Boucher, but most important to me personally is eye and lip makeup. I hate fitting eyelashes, yes I’ll be blunt, it is a weakness of mine, so I look for skins with a thicker eyeliner. I also have to love the lips. This is where the Belleza Belle skin did not let me down.

This skin is available in 4 tones with 32 makeup options for each. I also like to point out the collarbones and neck cords. They are sexy in my opinion.

The places where some skins, even good ones can look odd, such as the ears look good on this skin as well. The hands also are feminine with SL limitations with hands and feet. I hate man hands, and these don’t give those to me.

I’ll be honest and say that I don’t have a lot of reasons to have a naked AV, but the body on the Belle is worth finding a reason. The bootie is cute and firm, and small details like the back of the knees are worth mentioning.

Belleza can be found at Belleza (80, 224, 22); Starley Pumps by Elika Tiramisu, ETD Isle (187, 198, 31); Hair by Maitreya, Glam World 2 (242, 213, 26); and Truth, Truth Island (135, 67, 22);  Lingerie from Blacklace Alphamale (121, 119, 36).

You look soooooo cute as a brown eyed girl!

Although I like the green eyed Graci too.

I am very interested in your series “30 days of skins.” Thank you for publishing it.

We all have very different tastes. I am personally interested in skins with more “hyper” realism and less airbrushing – for example, a mole on the stomach – freckles – etc.
I find small flaws give a stronger sense of reality and are much more engaging than the painted doll look.

I am also interested in how people use their “bought” skins in ways perhaps not intended by the original creator… altering features via body shapes to make a avatar not seem to have such a cookie cutter appearance… Perhaps taking an Asian skin and creating a blond Slavic look from it since they have the same bone structure.

Do you plan address these sorts “skins” explorations in your series?
