New Pulse Skins by Lorac Farella

If you’re a loyal FashCon shopper, you probably knew all about Pulse’s clearance sale, offering the first generation of skins for a mere L$200. I hope you had a chance to stock up on oldies but goodies.
Lorac Farella, the artist behind Pulse - who hand draws a great deal of the skins she sells is releasing a new line in just a few days (October 5th is the projected release date) and she was kind enough to share a preview.
Although there will be 5 different skin tones, at the time we spoke, only one “Soft Ivory” had been officially named. To the left here is “Innocense” a very natural makeup look with and without freckles. On the top left is a glammed-to-the-max makeup called, appropriately, Pose Me. Even though the earlier Pulse skins have been retired now, the second generation of Lorac’s skins - each given names like “Gifted” “Kissed” or “Blissed” (Passion and Oh My! make up looks are shown here in the Blissed tone)
show the kind of incredible body detail and hand painted shading that’s been lavished on these skins. While I absolutely love the lower torso shading, I think some of the lines around the collarbone and neck could be a bit less extreme - and looking at the upcoming release, it’s obvious that’s an area that’s been radically changed from previous skin releases. I’m going to be looking forward to seeing the darker tones in the new release because the previous darker tones in the 1st generation skins were really good.
On top of skins, Pulse also creates a line of clothing, eyes, and other accessories which are worth checking out. My favorite items at the store, though, are definitely the skins.
