Impressione Announces NEW Date for “Weekend of Beauty”

September 3, 2008 — Impressione, a full-service virtual worlds marketing agency, must reschedule the dates for the premiere event, “Weekend of Beauty”. Originally planned for the weekend of September 5-7, the event has been delayed by 3 weeks.  The new dates are Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th.

The schedule change is due to a number of technical problems with the event facilities including content loss, crashing, sim delivery and linking of the multiple sims by Linden Lab, as well as ongoing server issues that significantly impact stability and performance. Our event venue has been designed with the goal of the highest quality guest experience possible within Second Life and regrettably under these conditions this is not possible.

Impressione apologizes for the inconvenience of this date change, but we must ensure the event is able to proceed as designed. Many thanks to the participating musicians, artists and designers for their understanding and patience.
