This Week at SexySecond

EmilieWatkins2.jpg Howdy Podners, Cowgirl Jaime here with this week’s SexySecond Roundup, and as you can see in the picture, I even wore my spurs and chaps. Actually it’s a picture from a review I did of some equestrian clothing by Emilie Watkins that made for some fun this week, but hey, at least I tried to keep to the roundup theme.

It was a great week over at our blog because we finally announced a contest we’re having for the next issue of our magazine. We would like you to help pick the 50 outfits we’ll feature and then have you model them! It’s easy to enter and you can enter as many times as you’d like. Read my blog post about it for all the details.

As for the clothes we reviewed this week, I swear I have the best job in Second Life because of all the wonderful things out there to look at. In addition to the clothes by Emilie Watkins I found three great outfits from toXic Boutique.

dbs_heart.jpg Celebrity Trollop surprised and delighted us by stopping by to show off the stunning work of ShyOne Lehane from DBS Heart. Shown left, the outfit, Scandal, looks fabulous as do the boots, called Ophelia. Most remarkable is that even the skin in the picture is by Lehane, making this a gorgeous one stop shopping experience! It is always a pleasure to see Celebrity and even more of a pleasure to see Celebrity wearing outfits like this.

Nemi McCoy also stopped by to show off some wonderful lingerie by Alaska Metropolitan of Opium. The lingerie is part of Alaska’s Le Burlesque line, and looks to be another great design I’ll have to go get. I should add that Nemi, who is one of Second Life’s more seasoned avatars and most decorated models, looks especially stunning in the Le Burlesque shots. I hope someday she shares her beauty secrets with us!

010108PxlAntihero1.jpg Finally, the ever talented Arabeth Laval reviewed a couple of very nice things- the Antihero from Pixeldolls being one of them. Suffice it to say she likes the outfit, a lot. Ok, suffice it to say we all do, and you will too. Arabeth also introduced us to another new store, Lookr, and their designs, specifically a cardigan and chinos set named Vixen.

Ok, I promise I won’t be this chatty for all of 2008, but as I’ve been rushed for my last few roundups it was nice to be able to babble a bit. Thank you for indulging me, come on over and visit us at SexySecond, (don’t forget to look into our contest!) and I’ll see you again here next week!
