VERY IMPORTANT: Due to my error, the signups were not properly saved into the database I’m using for this game. Please! If you signed up in the last 3 days, sign up again. I am so very very sorry for this inconvenience.

I also released a new version of the kiosk. Seems several people clicked on the kiosk just to get a notecard, not to sign up. The new kiosk version asks a user what it should do - dispense a notecard, or sign a user up. If you placed a kiosk in your store, please get a new one from OnRez here. The new kiosk is also available from the kiosk vendor at Second Style HQ at Le Zoo (146, 19, 22).

I spent a few hours last night creating a signup kiosk for a Secret Santa game I want to run in Second Life. The rules are simple:

• Find a kiosk and touch it to signup yourself (I have one at Le Zoo (136, 26, 22).)
• On December 19 at noon SLT, signups will close and recipients randomly assigned. Each person in the pool will get one recipient to buy a gift for — notification of your recipient’s name will come in the form of an in-world instant message. (If we have an odd number of recipients, I will take two.)
• On or before December 25, buy your recipient a gift, anonymously if possible. Note that OnRez will deliver gifts (even no-transfer items) to your recipient anonymously.
• Please don’t spend more than L$500, but spend at least L$100. You may purchase your recipient more than one gift, if you like as long as the total is less than the maximum.
• On December 26, your recipient will find out her Secret Santa!

If you’d like a Secret Santa signup kiosk for your own parcel, go to Le Zoo (146, 19, 22), find the OnRez kiosk holding the secret santa prim, and then buy one for L$0. You can also get one from my online store here for L$0 — whichever is most convenient. Thanks for helping spread some holiday cheer.
