Laynie’s Weekly Wrap - December 5, 2007

By Laynie Link | December 5, 2007

zerostyletsubura1.jpgHi!! It feels like a million years since I’ve written, but I’m back. Did you miss me? (Don’t answer that! *laughs*) But now that I’m no longer hooked up to tubes and machines that go beep in the middle of the night, I’ve got a wrap-up of last week’s hair!

On Thursday, Teagan showed everyone an adorable style by Gurl 6 called November. It was a limited edition hair only available through the end of November, so I hope you got it while it was there! It was long, with rumpled bangs and a cute headband.

Then, we got to see a great style by Zero Style called Tsubura (pictured). These pigtails are too cute to be believed, with braids wrapped around the base of each pigtail. This style would be great for kicking around in casual clothes, or paired with something a bit dressier as Teagan showed it.

analoglola1.jpgSaturday, Teagan showcased a long style from Analog Dog called Lola. As usual, this style showcases what Analog Dog does best - amazing, silky textures that make me want to bury my hands in the hair and pet it like a puppy! Lola doesn’t disappoint, and this long style showcases the textures beautifully.

Sunday’s style was an elegant updo from Marlys called Anessa’s Valor. This sleek, smooth style calls to mind more innocent days, sock hops and poodle skirts. The simple lines are sure to flatter you.

philoticenergyindy1.jpgTeagan and I have been lamenting the lack of good guy hair to blog, so she decided to make Mondays “Male Mondays.” This gives us a reason to get off our tushies and find great guy hair! Philotic Energy fits the bill with the Indy style. The choppy cut looks sleek and sexy on guys. (Don’t tell anyone, but I bet it’d look great on girls too!)

Finally, the week wrapped up with Shannon 2 from Biedermann’s Quality Hair. This one’s a little on the wild side, with two braids that are tied off around the shoulder blade, before falling down the rest of the way like ponytails. Long braids frame the face, and tie the look together nicely.

It’s been a great week, and I can’t wait to see what we find for next week. Happy holidays!
