Tonight, Friday December 7, 2007 at 5:00 pm SLT - Tanya Book will present the 2007 Fashion Blogger’s Choice Awards on Calliefornia.
Saturday, December 8, at 1:00 pm SLT - Frolic Mills of the “Best of SL Magazine” and Miko Omegamu of ICING, present the Evolutions show. This looks like one of the most interesting fashion events this weekend because it will showcase the beginnings of some of Second Life’s best content creators. I won’t be able to make this show, but I hope someone out there takes photos for me! Arcana (212, 101, 22)
Also at 1:00 pm and again at 7:00 pm, the FACES modeling group is presenting a charity benefit for the SOS Childrens Villages charity. Plus it’ll be the grand re-opening of the Glam World sim - Minnu Model skins and Maitreya together with lots of other great fashion vendors. Glam World (190, 75, 23)
At 2:00 pm, NEX-CORE presents fashions by Red-Eye Shop. Innocence (51, 163, 22)
At 3:00 pm, MAD Agency presents designs by LeeZu Baxter. Kmadd Enterprise (222, 122, 22)
At 6:00 pm SLT, Second Style presents Spotlight II with designs from Immortelle, BBBM, Blowpop skins and [Decoy]. Like our last show, we have tried to select designers who are newer in Second Life and deserve a broader audience for their clothing. I am really excited about this show - the outfits are superb and the venue is our brand new headquarters building, a temple to pixel fashion in Le Zoo (128, 36, 22).
Immediately following the show, please stay for the monthly Shopping Cart Disco/Second Style Inventory Swap party. With your fellow fashionistas, trade (or trash) your transferable outfits
that need a new home.
Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 8:00 am SLT - Join new modeling agency FUSION for “Breathless” featuring lingerie and dress designs by BabyDoll. GOLDENSANDS (3, 212, 22)
At noon SLT, join the Aspire models for the Ivalde Winter Event - this features the clothing of Ivalde, the jewelry of Second Mirage, Elegance hats, and hair by Hairpy. There will be an afterparty too. Ivalde (65, 21, 21)
On Monday, December 10, 2007, all day, the Spirit City sim has its grand opening. There are a lot of activities planned including freebies and treasure hunts. Spirit City
