Busy busy weekend

One look at the Second Style Style Calendar will tell you how jam-packed this weekend is with fashion events all over the grid. On Saturday at noon SLT, the Milan, Italy based Accademia Del Lusso school of fashion design opens their very own island in Second Life. The brainchild of Shiryu Musashi, the party kicks off at noon SLT with a fashion show featuring Callie Cline, Simone, Musahi-Do, Shiny Things and much more. Montenapoleone sim.
Also at noon SLT, Adam-n-Eve are hosting a new release show with models on a catwalk complete with a live DJ, and followed by musician Kelvinblue Oh. Genesis 18, 159, 23.
At 1:30 pm SLT, Frolic Mill’s magazine “Best of Second Life” presents a fashion show featuring Callie Cline, Iota Ultsch, Nicky Ree, Nonna hedges, Raven Pennyfeather and Rebel Hope kicks off on Galveston Isle
Then at 3 pm SLT, SLangLife magazine - a real-world printed magazine about Second Life opens its brand new sim. You can check it out at SlangLife (150, 177, 24)
Solange Cerveau and the team at MAD Agency are producing a lingerie extravaganza Moulin Rouge style. This should be a fun show to watch and listen to - and Solange’s lingerie is top notch.
On Sunday, December 2, at noon SLT, you can find out more about maddyyy Schnook’s new book, How to Get a Second Life on Book Island (171, 197, 36). Many events are planned including live music.
At 2 pm SLT on Sunday on Aspire Isle, the new Aspire Sky Lounge opens its doors. There will be music provided by Aspire Radio DJs, dancing, contests, give-aways, a mini-fashion show, and more.
Also at 2 pm SLT, NEX-CORE presents a fashion show featuring Kalico Kreations, Fetch Alternative, Neko Gear. Coordinates for the show are Innocence (51, 163, 22)
At 3 pm SLT, the 2nd Site Art Gallery Grand Opening will take place on Haddath (123, 73, 46). The upper floor features an exhibition of recent work by the British artist So Dench. The lower floor displays works by various artists on the theme of light. Some works contain nudity and may not be suitable for typists under 18. (Who theoretically shouldn’t be on the main grid at all, anyway… but.)
On Monday, December 3, at 5 pm SLT, Swedish designer Rolig Loon unveils her store Så Roligt on Elysian Isle (145, 76, 33).
On Tuesday, December 4, at noon and again at 6pm SLT, Emee Flanagan is hosting a gothic fashion show on the Rezzables brand new Crimson Shadow sim. The show will feature exclusive designs by Tailor Made Moxie Polano and Forda Fairlane. Crimson Shadow Rezzable (192, 187, 26)
And (deep breath) on Tuesday at 5 pm SLT, the 12avatars crew are hosting a holiday party at 12avatars (113, 127, 23). If you haven’t already seen the calendar they produced, you ought to go check it out.
