Hubby’s Boutique

Here’s another “new-to-me” designer brand - “Hubby’s Boutique” which is run by the duo of JH and Jessie Gervasi. I can only guess that they’re married in RL, but they are definitely partnered in Second Life. JH designs the clothing and Jessie serves as his muse, model and marketing director. So first up on the right is a design called “Wilhelmina,” a smart charcoal grey woolen knit dress. Yes, it is a system skirt. No, it doesn’t have a noticeable “skirt gap” which was a very pleasant surprise. Wilhelmina is suitable as businesswear or as a smart fashion statement all on its own. On the left is a sister outfit “Nadia” which incorporates a thoroughly modern cinched waist and fishnet leggings on a scoop neck cut dress using the same winter-y fashion season charcoal wool. But wait! There’s more! In addition to these two dresses, you’ll want to get the Lime Swirl Dress (shown on the right) and the Daisy Print Top (shown on the left) which are yours as a gift. OK, lime swirls and daisy prints are more suitable for springtime, but in Second Life it can be whatever season you want! I paired up the GLAM “Gold” denim capris with the top — this time with a zebra print belt detail. (Skins by Celestial Studios, shoes by Maitreya, hair by ETD.)
