Inventory swap party: Friday, September 14 noon and 6pm SLT

inventory_swap.jpgIn association with Shopping Cart Disco, we’re having our monthly inventory swap party this Friday, September 14 at noon and 6pm SLT. The inventory swap is your opportunity to clear out those transferrable inventory items that you just don’t want any more. (The last stop before they hit your trash can, most likely.) There’s no cost to give or receive. Just show up and start modeling what you want to give away. We promise not to mock you, much. We’ve had a lot of fun at these events over the summer and there’s been some really fabulous finds — especially some great “vintage” designs from Dazzle that just aren’t available anywhere. This swap party will be at Insula Inferi (186, 234, 611). Stop by and join us!

  2. Isn’t it sad that the way of the transferrable item is almost gone?
    I sure wish there were vendors like you find at Miriel’s where you can choose to have the version you prefer.
    As more and more vendors end the transferable option, the days of inventory swaps and the fun that can be had at them, will be gone too. :(
    I hope to make it to this one.

  3. Oh gosh I know, Lizbeth. Pretty much everything I want to share is transfer, and usually I love it but sometimes… I just want to give it away!! I’m really happy I have the chance to give people the option too, Miriel just plain rocks.

  6. Great idea - unfortunately I had to work.

    I would absolutely LOVE to have the tapestry dress from Designs by Pink. It was out last winter before I joined SL. No idea if it’s transferable, but I would happily pay for it.

    It’s gorgeous :D
