ETD Sale *Extended!*

**Update from Justine: As you may have seen in the comments on this post and on the ETD blog Elika has extended the sale to Friday, August 17! Yay!
Based solely on the number of people there with me when I shopped, this is not news to many people, but in case you’re bad with dates like I am and didn’t join the ETD group in time, the public portion of the big ETD sale is on right now and runs to Monday. Each color pak is only L$50, with combos L$75 and willow packs only $300. I’ve been once and am putting on my lag armor for a second round.

I tried to go there yesterday and got stuck by the entrance.

Perhaps if Elika would grant a slight extension, even 2 more days, things might smooth out a bit and no one will be disappointed. Those who only have time on weekends can go today, while those able to be on line on weekdays could hold off instead of everyone rushing the sim in a last minute frenzy.
It’s great hair! Everyone wants some.

Posted by: Jane2 McMahon on August 12th, 2007 at 9:50 amOMG what a fight to get the hair, but get it I did, yay :))) After being reject by the sim on 4 occasions, stuck in the sidewalk, crashing 5 times, I finally managed to get all the styles I currently own(and some I didn’t) and love in all the colours at a reduced cost, woot Elika :)) Maybe everyone could detach everytng bar clothes to keep the lag down, it made my buying way easier when I figured that out..now…how do I esacpe the sim, I’m stuck! O.o

Posted by: Justine Babii on August 12th, 2007 at 1:51 pmIn the middle of finishing up my rl move…but I hear your complaints and I WILL extend the sale. Unfortunately, I’m having my own net issues and sl issues, so I totally understand. I will extend the sale to this upcoming Friday.
I apologize to anyone who will be offended that they had to fight and suffer through the lag, just to have me extend it. I don’t want anyone to be upset with the extension, so hopefully no one will be.
I’m trying to accommodate as many people as possible…so hopefully an extension will do that. I will make an official announcement on my blog later today if I can log into it as well as send out a notice.

Posted by: Elika on August 14th, 2007 at 10:20 pmNot sure what more I can do to fix that :( I removed all the landscaping around the sim….which reduced my total prim usage to 6035 out of the 15000, I’m alotted. ::shrugs:: I also restart it every time I log in, not sure what more can be done.
