Sneak peek of the Paper Couture Fall/Winter line

By Celebrity Trollop | July 7, 2007

Snapshot_011.jpgSnapshot_012.jpgI’ve mentioned the MO Island show in a couple of different posts, and it was a really great show, collecting together a lot of talented designs and designers, including a few that I didn’t know about or hadn’t seen before. When I arrived, though, I was surprised to see the Lu sisters arrayed at the end of the runway, and even more surprised to see three of their upcoming fall/winter designs to make their way down the runway. I wouldn’t say they stole the show, but everyone was pretty excited to get a glimpse at what’s coming from their line for the fall/winter release.

Here are photos of the front and back of the designs they debuted. All of the models in these photos are wearing skins, hair, accessories and shoes (including some really fascinating sculptie heel shapes) created by Paper Couture. The sisters were enigmatic about when the new line might be available for sale, but we will be waiting impatiently to see the rest of it.

  3. Considering only a few select people were invited, it must not have been that big of a deal. Judging from the looks of several shots on several blogs that covered this event, it appears that PC has a lot of work to do to get somewhat respectable. The skins on the models were near SL issue. PC is bush league, to be perfectly honest, and one big love-fest for their friends.

  4. Well I love PC, I have all of her men’s outfits. I only wish she made shoes for us too ^^.

  5. Takeshi, I love their men’s outfits, too! I like the simple oxford shirts and jeans for casual wear. I love their stuff in general; it’s not the usual slut-wear you see all over SL! For shoes, I’d have to suggest FKNY/Cake — they have a great interpretation of the men’s Prada loafer.

Note: I am not friends w/anyone affiliated with Paper Couture.
