Skin Review - “Shanice” by Gracile
By Jaydei Benmergui | July 4, 2007
Patrice from Gracile dropped some new skins on this pale girl a little while back, and I snapped up the chance to wear something a bit different for a change.
“Shanice” is Patrice’s attempt to give more options to the ladies wanting quality skins in dark tones. To the left is a facial shot…what really stood out about the face was the shine, and subtle use of makeup (I’m modeling the Copper tone here, but the skin’s available in six different makeups).
Cut below for boobies and random nether regions (okay, maybe not so random…)
I’m fairly impressed with the shading on the skin…it’s definitely natural - well, SLnatural at any rate - and the breasts are my favorite part of the skin. (Yeah, yeah, get your minds out of the gutter.) My least favorite part is the toes…again…it’s not something I’m very picky about (you can only make the SL feet look so good, anyway) but still, I felt obligated to mention it.
Overall, it’s a far cry from the uber-darkened white skins that some skin designers try to push off as “dark”…if you’re looking for a natural dark skin, “Shanice” is definitely a must-try.
Available at Gracile. (Hair by Kin, shirt in first picture by Escape)
