Marla’s Coats
By Grazia Horwitz | July 9, 2007
Rhiannon Rossini, the designer from Marla and owner of Marla Beach Mall, has made a couple of nice new things. From her latest release I have a soft spot for the military coat and the patch work coat. Whereas the military coat looks photosourced, the patchwork coat has a more soft look. The military coat is closed, double breasted and has an above the knee prim skirt. The patch work on the contrary has a more bohemian look, it is open, thus offering possibilities to match it with a cute top or sweater, and the prim part is long and flowy. There are some seams issues where the upper and lower part of the jacket meet and Rhiannon does need to work on her prims, but I think that once she gains more experience in putting them together, it will work out just fine and these coats make me happy, so flawless or not, I though I’d share them with you.
I wear them here with some of Rhiannon’s jeans and the top of her California outfit. The hair is ETD’s Chalissa II in Smoke Burnt, the skin is Adam ‘n Eve’s Grazia Feline Pink and the shoes are the soft black OH Baby!! shoes made by Damen Gorilla.
