It’s a Kind of Mhaijik

Some time ago I was talking to Ben Vanguard of the SLmen blog and as usual, when I have been catching up with people, I do remember having their blogs bookmarked so I looked over some of his more recent posts. What struck me was the incredibly lovely accesories he wears in a lot of his posts, and I became curious if it was all for the lads, or that this jeweler has also nice things for the girls…. and she has… oh she has… I got greedy and picked up a bunch of her things to take a closer look and eventually (yeah this has been in my inventory for quite some time, and I took the photo’s like a month ago) blog it.
Mhaijik Guillaume has very diverse collection of jewelry for both men and women, from the classic pearl strands to wiccan stuff with pentagrams etc. She does not have one specific style, I get the idea this lady just makes what she feels like making, whether it is pride jewelry, goddess symbols or just awesome elegant sets. When you visit her shop, you will need some time… most of the vendors do contain multiple items, but it’s not too clear which ones you can scroll through and which ones you can’t. Do take the time to do it though because you will find nice things. Like the scripted moon necklace on the left. This abstract moon symbol actually rotates. Or the Hearts and pearls set next to it which has some great primwork with the filigrain hearts. The necklace next to it is a goddess pendant, a lovely abstract figurine in the tradition of the prehistorical goddess figures found on several archeological sites. My favourite is the opals and gold set to the right, I have included a close up of the pendant to show the intricate prim work on it, the tiny gold leaves, the texture of the opals.

I spent today reorganizing my shoppe. I know it gets cluttered.
I added a sign explaining my Vendos and Fast Sell boxes, Basically the 1 Prim multi-item vendos are 1.5 x 1.5 and the fast sell boxes are 1 x 1 size.
You are exactly right “this lady just makes what she feels like making”. I see something as I walk along, or I get an idea in a meeting, or commuting, and I sketch it. I have a tablet of things yet to be made. If you read my bio - I am many things in a long list ending with - creative, inventive. puzzling maze.
