Hey Gazzy,

I agree with you in almost all: the model Nympheas Nogah is astonishing, the outfits you quoted are amazing, June Dion is wonderful person, the store is a good place to see, but....
June must invest in better hair and shoes to SLife. The hairs I saw there should be wear only for furries and to make part of phantasies. If you are a model you will not choose a hair like that.

But, congratulations to bare Rose

Dear friends,

This Bare Rose must be called " The Best Store in SL". I only see nice outfits around all the time. I have been always there and I see a lot of news outfits coming and a lot of avatars crazy to get them. The place is always crowded.

Among the best are : " Vampires" for men, "White Skin", wonderful outfit in white and gold and The Thorn of Beauty. The second one (Skin White) is represented by a girl named Nympheas Nogah, a very sexy and sweet person who is in the staff of B@R too. She gave for the costumers a very good attention, and showed me the outfits I needed at the men section. I must say I falled in love for the girl (oh boy!) - one of the most beautiful avatars I saw in SL, for not to say the most beautiful one - and maybe someday I hope she can look for my ugly avatar.
Bare Rose is the most beautiful shop I have found in SL.Nympheas showed me some rooms in BR, like the Bookstore, I never saw at another places. June Dion must not be worried with people saying she is not organized: I am bored to see those organized stores...as a lot of my friends, journalists or not are bored to see too.

June Dion is a very different owner and person. I know, as I heard comments, that she gives a piece of land for their employees and that they are very happy like a group. It is good to see that the best designer of SL dedicates so attention for her staff. A good heart and soul. Gazzy Mapp

Thanks for the great write up Cel! Gorgeous pictures! Had to respond to your comment that "it might just be the least organized shop in Second Life". While its true that the shop is huge, we have over 900 outfits, and that the sheer volume can be daunting. Both the womens and mens department are organized into themed sections: Goth, Japanese, casual, fantasy, etc. which are clearly labeled. June, at considerable expense, also employees a huge staff (30+) to help our customers find exactly what they are looking for. This is in a store that doesn't have a single outfit over 200L.

We work hard to try to minimize the lag (blocking and removing scripts, reducing texture sizes and site lines etc) but the fact that the sim is packed 24/7 is the primary cause. This is why we have expanded to Black Cat. I'm a manager at Bare Rose so I'm obviously biased, but im also a shopper who has been to many other shops in SL and to call B@R the least organized in SL isn't really accurate.

For any of you that have problems navigating B@R please ask the staff for help or IM me, I'd be happy to show you around :)

Thanks for all your great work Cel!

I have to confess that I don’t especially enjoy shopping at Bare Rose — it might just be the least organized shop in Second Life

Yeah, same here. The disorganization wouldn't be so bad for me if all the product boxes didn't have 512 x 512 images on them: not only is it hard to tell when you're in the right area, it takes forever to realize you're in the wrong area, too. The stuff is great, though.

BR is wonderful, last week I picked up the cutest sculpted jewelry set Power L@piz. The Haute Dept is great, less laggy than the main store.
