The Tete à Pied Mai outfit makes me happy again. It is retro, navy and totally cute, this dress makes me want to go sailing, and swimming and hang out on the deck of a beach side restaurant with plenty of sea food and a crisp chardonnay. CJ Carnot has been creating this multi layered cuteness so that you will have not only a lovely dress, but also a stunning retro bikini, as well as a pin up worthy one piece bathing suit. There is one minor point of feed back on this, it only comes in blue, and I would love to have it in more colours as well.
The Mai skin is equally retro. With the best red lips in SL, Tete à Pied these days is my favourite skin shop. I hear you say: “but it looks like the Février skin which I already have and love”, well.. frankly, a prototype version of the skin that Roslin showed me was somewhat similar, but the eyeshadow is gone on the final version of Mai, the eyeliner is softer and much more subtle than on the Février skin and the red lips are of a brighter, more vibrant red. All in all the look and feel of Février was very 80′s whereas Mai is a total 50′s pin up classic make up. That is why I have chosen a total retro hairstyle to go with it. While I usually am wearing darker hair, I just could not resist this Dirty Blond Ruby II hair by Aleri Darkes from Diversity hair. Marilyn would have been green with envy if she could have seen this.
