Culture Vulture

CultureVulture_tops.jpgWhile strawling down Downtown’s Chinatown I found these cute tops in one of the small shops in what is nowadays one of SL’s hottest shopping districts. While the collection is small, just these tops, some tights and some cute bangles, the quality of the inventory is absolutely fabulous. So I wanted to share them with you and express the hope that Novi Gadsby, the creator of this cuteness, will soon add some more lovely items to the collection at Culture Vulture.

The hair in this photo is Naughty Design’s Impulse in black shine, and the skin is Grazia in some of the new make-ups that have recently been release by Adam ‘n Eve

  2. My usual problem: not being able to find the fabulous things I read about in this blog. I saw the hair in this photo and said “I want that”. Searched Naughty under Places and Classifieds didn’t find it. No Naughty Designs. Seached this blog, found name of owner Ambyance…searched People for her profile, found alndmark in her picks Naug!ty Island….went to huge store…found a map to the hair. Finally? Is there an easier way to find the designers you mention? What am I missing?

  3. Hey Abby,

    finding things at Naughty Designs is pretty hard. There is so much available. At several points in the sim though, Lost & Amby have notecard givers that will direct you to the several departments of their sim which I usually find very helpful.

    All we can do is give you a landmark to the shops where the things are for sale,which we do on the items that we blog, but not on all the things that are in the photos(mentioned in the credits. It would be so kind if the designers that we mention would put the items in front of their shops but that would be a hell of a job keeping upi with all the blogs and moving vendors all the time. Oh well… lag issues aside, hunting for that special item can be fun too. Oops, now that I see it, forgot to include a SLurl for Culture Vulture… will repair that immediately

  4. Actually, Gracia, my problem is a little more basic than not being able to find a certain item in the store…its trying to find the STORE! You have probably been doing this so long you know where Naughty Designs is located, but as I said, I looked in the blog archives and couldn’t find a SLurl or an address…Search function in-world doesn’t list Naughty Designs….in Places, or Classifieds…so I looked up Ambeyonce’s profile and found a link to Naughty Island that way. I guess my suggestions is an index to popular store locations on the blog…

  5. That would be a nice idea if only there where not so many shops in SL hehehe. Listing will always be incomplete and when you might be ok with eventual shope listed, for another person the list might be totally inadequate. I agree that it is a pain sometimes, especially when the shop is called Naughty Designs, and the place is listed under Naughty Island in search. But we are trying our best.

    Funny, cause I gotta lot of naughty sites without that box checked!
