I decided to film and narrate a quick video tutorial which shows how I edit prim lashes in Second Life. There are probably a lot of different ways to do it, but this is what works for me. If you have a tip to share, please leave a comment! Otherwise, I hope people find this helpful.
I want to give a shout out to the shape prodigy Haver Cole for creating the shape I’m wearing in this video.

Thank you, Celebrity! That was very helpful, especially the Ctrl+0, Ctrl+9 keyboard shortcuts you mentioned. I always forget to investigate shortcuts.
I have been wrestling with my first set of prim lashes. I do fine when I look just from the front, but when I turn in profile, and try to get them to not stick out too far, then I seem to mess up the alignment, and have to go back to the front. I’m getting it, though. They are looking so nice—I can’t believe I’ve gone this long in SL without them.
Great video tut!
yaaay thanks for the shout out! I really enjoy being your plastic surgeon…:D
Oh, nice work! I have like one pair which were no copy, so I tried to edit them, and totally messed up. That was the end of that. Maybe I’ll get some of those new Celestial ones and give it another go.
Great tutorial, you look stunning!
Thank Celebrity! This was very helpful! What lashes are you wearing in this?
Laci, the lashes are from Celestial Studios, Classic #3
Thanks for such an awesome tutorial!!
Being sort of new in SL I was so happy to find out how to do this.
…So happy I blogged it for my Japanese SL blog readers.

I’m looking forward to trying this – the lashes I’ve bought are only two prim for each eye and they never quite line up around my preferred eyeshape. I’ll pick up some of yours and give it another try!
