Colorful
By Grazia Horwitz | April 30, 2007
This is going to be a quick post as my long weekend (Queen’s Day today) has passed again faster than I expected :-/, but some time ago Sherona DeGroot from Innovations dropped some delicious outfits on me and I finally managed to take some usable photos of them, in between update, update aftermath and just not being able to log on at all.
Although named the Concept Collection, these outfits are final and released. They all come with various options, slacks or skirt, plain tank or polkadot tops and even shoes in matching colors and dito textures. Speaking of which….. the textures are so gorgeous. Eclectic, vibrant and rich designs in fabulous shades. Sherona has been playing with the current hype for a more corporate look and has come up with a very playful and authentic collection. Although my favorite is the black and grey suit, I also adore the brown and turquoise outfit that I wear here with the trousers, but I also love the teal outfit and oh well, the turquoise and pink one is too cute as well.
The poses in this photo are Damen Gorilla’s from Adam ‘n Eve, the hair is the Poynter from Armidi and the skin is Adam ‘n Eve’s Pandora, tone 3, make up 8.

The black suit with the turtle neck is adorable! The matching shoes look medium-to-low heeled, which is refreshing.
Posted by: Clari Fride on May 2nd, 2007 at 9:58 amYou’ve seen that right Clari, the shoes are not very high heeled and although my pixel feet never get tired, a lower heel can be very sophisticated compared to the sky high heels that you’ll find most in SL:-)
Posted by: Grazia Horwitz on May 2nd, 2007 at 10:52 amIndeed, that was precisely my point… don’t get me wrong, I love high heels almost as much as I hate platform shoes and boots, but amidst all the bling and excess lower heels can be quiet distinctive. Even sabrinas can work wonderfuly were otherwise one would be tempted to use some ultra high heels.
Fortunately - or unfortunately for my purse - shoes in SL are varied and there is a good offering of every style…. what I think is really missing is the boots. I only manage to find either riding boots and cowboy boots, or platform-like boots more proper to some “kinky” outfit. IIRC there is a differece in usage of boots in Europe and the US, and I think that it reflects on SL. I really, really miss something like this: http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/pic/GAN/LAL-024~London-Posters.jpg . I took the image from the blog of the model Ana Lutetia :)
Ehe, I’ve talked to much as usual, sorry about that.
Posted by: Clari Fride on May 3rd, 2007 at 3:09 amThose boots look a bit like the ones you can find at Lassitude & Ennui (Nouveau sim. El3gant Designs (on display at Nyte ‘n Day) does also have very good “no hoochie” boots. Au Naturelle (or Naturel, not in world can’t check it for you right now)has also some nice boots, sans bling, sans stripper platforms.
Posted by: Grazia Horwitz on May 3rd, 2007 at 4:04 amYou’re an angel :) Will check that for sure as soon as i’m in world.
Posted by: Clari Fride on May 3rd, 2007 at 6:21 amI’m picky with boots, but I did find the closest to my idea in Au Naturel, the Gray/Black Crosshatched Slouch boots. Thanks a lot for the pointer Grazia! They go well with several skirts I have indeed. But I’m still in the quest for pure black, close fitting, stilleto-heeled pointy boots :)
