Pop! Goes My Heart

2

Snapshot_014.jpgSnapshot_017.jpgI met designer Popfuzz Bamboo for the first time after the iVillage Fashion Show a couple weeks ago. At the time I took a LM and sorted it into my “to go explore” folder, but I never really found the time — but Popfuzz surprised me by sending a couple of her outfits for me to take a look at. On the left is her “Blue Goddess” gown, and to the right is “Gothic Fairy” (that yes does come with wings, but I’m not wearing them.) I was really impressed with the highlighting on these textures. I loved how Popfuzz continued the highlighting on the bodice of the Blue Goddess gown, clearly intending to make the bodice piece itself look like the jewel adornments on the skirt him and the luxurious belt.

Like a few other of the outfits I’ve been reviewing lately, both of these outfits come with a huge assortment of extra goodies — the prim jewelry pieces, shoes (or boots), and even wings. Popfuzz told me that she also offers these designs without those extras for a lower price point — or if you just want the footwear it’s available ala carte. In addition to these more “upscale” designs, Popfuzz has a line of every day casuals including an assortment of bras and panties, a collection of coordinated tops and mini-skirts and a few other things as well. You can visit her store at Cassiar 56, 194, 501.

Oh my god, please tell me that the ‘pop goes my heart’ title is in reference to the amazing film, ‘music and lyrics’ if not, it should be and everyone must go see it now.

It is indeed a reference to the movie… I bought the soundtrack four days ago and I’ve been dancing around singing it for three.

Disturbing!
