Kit Maitland released Girl Power last week and when I saw the picture I pounced on it! It comes with a ton of different ways to wear it — and it’d be great for mix ‘n’ matching too. In my photo, I put on the bra, the (cropped) sheer shell, the jacket and the belted shorts. But there’s also a longer version of the shell that uses the skirt layer for plenty of extra length. The end result is a really cute sorta dressy, sorta businessy sassy layered look that I loved. Other fun ways to wear this include swapping the included bra for one of your favorites. I put some of the gorgeous stuff from Love Lace underneath and left the jacket neatly hung in my virtual closet for a flirty, less dressy look. Girl Power is just one of several new really great new releases from CKS (it just happens to be my favorite!) Plus, if you stop by Kit’s blog you can get your fix of American Idol gossip! Oh these are very cute! I’ve taken to wearing things like this lately, as I’m having to be so dolled up for “DiVAS” that it’s nice to have something casual and yet still sassy.
