To Top It All Off

By Zillow Dejavu | February 3, 2007

DeGroot_Top2.jpgDeGroot_Top3.jpgIf you’re like me and most of my girlfriends, you can never have enough cute or pretty tops to wear with jeans and skirts. My closet was looking a little bear in that department, so I headed out to shop at one of my favorite designer’s with one thing in mind–stock up on the must-have tops.

Sherona DeGroot didn’t disappoint. Here are a couple of my favorites from her recently redesigned shop, Innovations. The purple she calls “belted hoodie” and you can see the hoodie attached. What I like most about it is the wide, shape-enhancing black belt with its white polka dots and the stitching at the neckline. Comes in a variety of colors.

The other top is simply called “Tammy shirt” and I love the bright, colorful patterns. Makes me long for a trip to the Caribbean or somewhere else warm and sunny. It’s available in a selection of patterns.

DeGroot_Top1.jpgPeople probably usually think of flowing gowns when they think of Sherona DeGroot, but she’s about a lot more than that. And lately, she’s even offering design classes, which you can learn more about at her shop.

I don’t know how old or new these tops are, but does that really matter when they’re so cute? I think not!

  1. Hey Zillow… must have been around x-mas…I was so suprised, because indeed… you expect formals, formals and formals, and Sherona told me she had just barely finished putting the new stuff in. Here is the link to the blog entry for ppl who want to read more about Innovation’s casuals:http://blog.secondstyle.com/2006/12/my-sherona.html
