Do you Love Lace?

As you can probably tell, I’m really thrilled about the triumphant return of one of Second Life’s top clothiers, but what else is going on?
It’s a big ol’ fashion world out there — and it’s almost Valentine’s Day. Designers have been serving up some really wonderful romantic themed garments, but among my recent favorites has been this amazing collection of lingerie by Launa Fauna and Nephilaine Protagonist. Love Lace is the brand name for this collection — and it’s currently available at their stores in Port Seraphine, Freelon and Chartreuse — a full fledged Love Lace store is coming soon. Since February 1, Nephi and Launa have been releasing one new lingerie set per day, all the way through Valentine’s Day. Having seen an advance preview of some of the things still-to-be-released, I must confess that if I *had* an SL boyfriend he’d be mighty pleased to see my avatar wrapped up in any one of these matching sets, today, yesterday or tomorrow.
As it happens two of my top favorites have already been put out for sale — on day 1, Launa showed me the set to the left which comes in six different traffic stopping color combinations — my personal favorite was ocean themed neptune, cast in a beautiful gauzy green with cyrulean blue accents against a soft creamy background of ruffled silk. The other set from this collection which just had me camming around my avatar while I watched in a slack-jawed stupor was Applique, the set to the right. And there’s still a whole week of newness still to come!
Even if you *don’t* have an SL partner to entice and tease on Valentine’s Day, it’s always fun to have a collection of lacy underthings on hand — because even if no one else sees them, you’ll always feel more confident and sexy knowing that you’re totally put together all the way down to the skin layer.
