Clubbing all Nyte long
By Celebrity Trollop | February 4, 2007
Tied up with RL work, back with Nyte Caligari initially released Merrrcy, Grazia got to it before me! So this time, when Nyte released two clubwear outfits “Tism” and “Gratify” on the Merrcy template, I wanted to make sure I had a chance to take them for a spin around the grid. Nyte takes all of the great things from the catsuit and brings them over to these sets. She’s a master at tone-on-tone shading too, which means that the wrinkles on her black stretchy textures really *look* stretched and wrinkled in the right places. Plus there’s a lot of sexy laces to showcase your latest tattoo finds — as shown in my photo. Nyte also just recently released a L$1 skin and two no transfer, but modify OK shapes toward the back of her store. (You can see the box textures for those here.)
Since I was all dressed up for clubbing, I was in search of a place to showcase the look — and I thought I had a good idea where that might be. Tya Fallingbridge of Pixel Dreams has been rebuilding her sim in January too. It’s finally open — I don’t know if she’s had a “grand opening” yet or not (sure it’s being planned :D) but she’s rebuilt a nightclub called Schmooze which has to be one of the best looking clubs I’ve ever seen in Second Life. I understand that Schmooze is kind of an exclusive invite only club, but if you ever have the chance to see the inside it’s really a visual feast for your virtual self.

That’s hot! I like the net top. One thing that I don’t like about some of her stuff and Mischief’s too is that they both always use the bevel tool in photoshop. I wish they would add highlighting and shading by hand or at least not use the default settings, it looks so tacky to me. Yet, they’re popular and they do great work so I’m probably the only one who gets turned off by beveled clothes.

So, good club wear for men… that avoids dayglo and tie dye…
