Two cool contests!

Etain Peregrine of Dark Eden started a fun contest I first saw posted on Queenie’s blog. Etain’s looking for Dark Eden girls of the month. Throughout 2007, she’ll be selecting up to 4 finalists for that month and then the winner is chosen by the votes of her customers! Each month’s winner will receive cash, some awesome Dark Eden goodies and is elegible to win Girl of the Year. (Girl of the Year, of course, wins even more fantastic stuff.) Entrants should send Etain an unretouched photograph of their avatar wearing merchandise from Dark Eden (or one of her associated vendors). Almost anyone can enter the contest (although some restrictions apply.) Be sure to swing by her store in Magenta to pick up a notecard with the full set of rules and conditions.
Garbage Prototype posted the rules for a new photo contest on Appearance Mode. Anyone can enter the contest and the photo must be PG rated. Winners will have their photo featured on the masthead of the blog and have an extended interview posted too. Garbage asked that submissions be sent in world with full permissions enabled. (Read the post for full details including some important image size restrictions.)
