This is a tad different from the usual feature that you’ll find here. Instead of reviewing in-world clothing and style, I’m going to take a look at something offered in the real world by a SL character.
I’m a fan of Heartun Breaker‘s syndicated advice column. Although I’m happily married and doing pretty well in RL (other than the occasional moment when I want to slaughter my teenage kids–no just kidding!)–I love the tone and style in Heartun Breaker’s relationship advice column. The words of wisdom are pretty darn good, too. Sometimes I wonder what planet the characters who visit her site for advice just flew in from, but hey–it takes all kinds and who am I to judge? Heartun Breaker treats everyone civilly and that’s to be admired.
She also offers real life t-shirts with the slogan “Get A Life” and mugs with catchy slogans such as, “When did ‘gangstas’ start playing Second Life? Ummmm. Never. If you play… YOU ARE A GEEK.” Pretty cool, huh? And one or the other of her slogans probably speaks to many of us in SL, for one reason or another.

Slight correction: the name is Heartun, not Heartrun. As she is a heart un-breaker. You don’t have to publish this. I’m sure she’d appreciate the accurate spelling, though.
