Shock and Awe!

In a positive way that is! It happened when I opened the boxes Nicky Ree sent me with her Snow Princess and the Shanae gown. Such loveliness in a box. Nicky is one of the designers that until now was a total stranger for me and what a pleasant surprise to get to know her work!
This season inspires designers all over SL to the most fabulous luxurious formal wear one can imagine. Nicky dreams of a White Christmas with the Snow Princess. It comes in 6 glorious colours of which she has send me the white one. It’s lovely. Fragile with the slightest blue and mauve sheer ice crystal pattern along the assymetric neckline and the hems of the skirt and the gloves. You may choose between an opaque or a translucent prim skirt. Personally I like the translucent one best because it puts more emphasis on the fragile character of the dress. The outfit comes with a magnificent fur trimmed, long, double, prim cloak with the same pattern. The furry trimming gives your face a very soft look and it almost glows. I can imagine Nicky’s Snow Princess living in a glorious ice castle sparkling with ice crystal adornments and transparent chandeliers… this dress is like a fairy tale.. and I get to play the lead in it.
Opposite to the Snow Princess is Shanae and it comes in four colours. This gown is fire in motion. The texture is velvetlike, rich, warm and deep. It has several prim skirt parts so you can wear it als you like… with a full gown of more slink. Also there are two versions of the top, one with straps and the other strapless as well as a full mesh skirt and an assymetric one. This pack gives you room to play and be versatile as fire itself. Adapt the gown to your own personality and temper from a rich classic look to a very sexy and edgy little number. I like the gem pattern on this gown. It has all different sparkling colours in it and it looks like tiny hands have been stitching them gem by gem on the gown. Shanae makes you feel like a milion dollar baby.
