Update: Second Style #6 now available!

I hope you enjoy it! And, also let me wish you a very happy holiday time and all of the best for 2007 on behalf of everyone at Second Style.

Isn’t this the best cover we’ve ever done??? When I saw my proof copy of #6 last night my jaw hit the floor. That’s cover girl Starley Thereian wearing the Celestial Studios/Dazzle Ice Enchantress Limited Edition. Cover photograph by the amazing Launa Fauna.

But we have lots lots more inside. There’s an interview with Starley Thereian, the return of our Men’s Corner (in the theme of holiday party wear), a fantastic 40s film noir style black and white photoshoot (outfits by Roslin Petion, photography by Rob Danton) and a whole layout of gorgeous holiday gowns. But that’s not even close to everything: Style Girl, Inventory Raid, Designer’s Tip, Fresh Faces spotlight, two great fashion mini-guides and much more!

It should be out in a day or so… so be watching!

    With the holidays bearing down like a train wreck, my posts to Fashionista have slowed down. But rest assured, I’ll return soon after the holidays. Meanwhile, eat, drink and be merry everyone!

  10. Yes, the lashes are probably the Lynnix Muse prim eyelashes and the issue is out now.

  12. Over all the magazine was good. I love the cover and the interview was great.

    The only complaint I have is the Fresh Faces article. Although Sol Columbia makes nice stuff, I think there are more Fresh Faces with the same amount of quality if not more than Sol’s products. It’s a shame that Nyte had to do a Fresh Faces review of a friend of hers rather than exploring the grid and finding someone who’s not a friend. For example the designer of Soda. Or Shai Delacroix. That’s my only complaint. I’m not trying to degrade Sol, so please don’t misinterpret. I just hope that the tradition of Second Style isn’t doing articles on or featuring friends.

  19. The cover is so gorgeous, and the photos are always the best, but I gotta say the one thing I really appreciate about Second Style magazine is how FAST it loads in Adobe Reader! Usually PDF magazines either take ages to load or else freeze up my browser entirely, but Second Style is always so snappy to come up on my screen. A weird thing to like but I really appreciate it.
