I know where I’ll be this coming Sunday afternoon–attending the NCI (New Citizens Incorporated), fashion extravaganza! On Sunday, December 10, NCI will showcase the talents of the many designers who got their start there. Designers featured during the event will include McLuhan, Chelsea Chandler, Dellybean North, Tim Toman, Autumn Heyse and Natalia Zelmanov.
All of these designers took their first steps in clothing design at NCI. If you’re a clothing designer and got your start by attending a class at NCI, you can showcase your work at the extravaganza for a donation of $L300. You’ll get five minutes to show up to three outfits and a page in the NCI alumni catalog. If you can’t or don’t want to participate in the extravaganza, you can donate up to $L150 and just be included in the catalog.
NCI offers beginner to intermediate courses in texture and clothing design as well as other educational events, tutorials, social events and lots of freebies. If you’re new to SL or just want to learn something new, you really owe it to yourself to stop by NCI.
