My so-called Drow life

I love that Second Life gives both residents and consumers so much freedom to explore and express themselves. In my earlier sale round up, I noted that Portia Sin of Sin Skins was having a half-off sale every skin in her store, including holiday and “specialty” skins. It doesn’t get too much more speciality than a drow skin. And Portia has not only made one skin — she made three different Drow skin tones too! And as if that wasn’t enough niche, she even made cleavage boosters for all three skin tones.
Well, being the curiousity-cat-killer type, I put on some of the drow demos. And then, just for fun, I put on the fantastic new Liselle limited edition by The New Zero in frost, and the new Amethyst eyes by Miriel and Spank Too hair in Snow White by Six Kennedy and the absolute coup finishing touch these awesome Dolfie boots by Santana Lumiere (That’s the “Sadist” boot design in the photo far left.) So, yeah, I’m all set now in my so-called Drow life; I ended up buying the drow skin — and the cleavage booster. (Who knew Drow needed boob jobs?) All joking aside, it does make a dramatic difference in the way the skin looks, especially under a corset top like the one I’m wearing in the photo.
But there was still one missing piece: a little “Attitude.” Most of my pose sets are sort of girlie girl with bended arm, dangling leg, coquettish half step back affairs. This new pose set from Torrid Midnight adds a lot of ‘tude to your avatar’s idle time. Five new poses — full on, ready for action, get outta my grill bitch — type stands, plus the hand-on-hip walk as an added bonus. You can buy these poses pre-loaded in an AO or you can buy just the animations and add them to your own AO.
That’s today’s Drow fashion mash-up. You just have to love Second Life sometimes; it’s too surreal.

I’d be all over the poses from Torrid, but I’m having a problem buying individual ones.

Thanks for pointing out there was a problem with the individuals Decadent! As best I could tell something was buggy with the script so I replaced them and it seems to work okay now :).

i am uberly excited taht you blogged santana’s boots, they are utterly amazing works of art.
i blogged them on Appearance mode last week and i have never ever ever gotten so many ‘where did you get those boots” in my life as when i have these on, santana is amazing, everything she does… imho ;0
