Donatella Eat Your Heart Out!

[update] (GH): Yesterday evening Digit has released her Marie Antoinette line with a party at her shop at Dacham. Jus because it’s so incredibily beautiful I’ve decided to put in yet another picture. All outfits come fully charged, two hairdos, feathers, garlands and shoes!
My fellow blogger Digit Darkes is a very nice person to be around with… since we both started writing for Second Style, we’ve been seeing a lot of eachother. She has offered me to use her place as an office for preparing posts and use her fotostudio. Besides a great girl to hang out with, Digit is also a very talented fashion designer, with currently a great collection in her store and working on some yummy outfits soon to be released.
It would be a shame not to share this with you just because she’s my fellow blogger… you’d be missing out on quite something. The title of this post refers to an RL situation. Ever since fashion king Gianni Versace was murdered several years ago, his too tanned and too blonde sister Donatella has been leading Versace. And it must be said, she does a fine job. Versace is still a top notch fashion house. However, Digit’s designs bring the old Versace back to one’s mind. Which personally I like better than the new one. She combines daring designs, very bright colours and smooth textures to create true haute couture in SL. I think, if Donatella were around in SL… she’d be eating her heart out seeing Digit’s designs… her tan fading to a greyish green with envy. They are edgy and sexy, without being slutty. I currently have one of her outfits and it makes me feel great!
Her Fall collection can be purchased either as full outfits, or item per item for mixing and matching at your own will and taste. All colours and patterns do look good together, so you cannot go wrong. Tops, shirts, pants and skirts combined with some stylish necklaces….all blend together in a high quality wardrobe. The full outfits are truly full… often with some matching accesories like shoes!!!
And Digit’s shoes are the dangerous kind, addicitve… super high heeled, but with a great fit to them. Even without an animation override.. you’ll be walking that sexy walk that only high heels can do… (either that, or die trying). Talking about RL design, Digit’s shoes remind me of Salvatore Ferragamo’s designs… the Italian designer who was designing shoes for Evita Peron and still is hot today. But hey, after all… Digit is a RL designer too.
Ultimately she has been working real hard to prepare a totally different line of clothing….I am honoured to reveal the first images on Second Style. Marie Antoinette, the French queen who lost her head at the guillotine during the French Revolution has inspired her to make some gowns which are truly to die for (although I’d rather not opt for poor Marie A’s fate). Every single gown is highly detailed with Digit’s best textures. She even started creating matching hairdos, frivolous 18th century updos with colourchange garlands and feathers. The total outfits combined with a mask would do great for a bal masqué, the gowns in itself are jaw dropping for any super formal event.
Every girl wants to be a princess…. these gowns make you feel like a queen.

I looooooooooooooooooooooooooove X3D clothes!!!! They are so glamorous and seem to move in ways other flexi clothes just don’t seem to come close to! The details are exquisite and I love the color combinations used. Love em, love em, love em.

Grins Latasha, as you can see from the photos on the bog, we do our own modeling usually. But yeah it is fun, I admit that.
