Baby it’s cold outside!

By Celebrity Trollop | December 1, 2006

Snapshot_002.jpgStarting with this post, I added a new category for our fashion posts called “Winter Wear.” This category is intended to collect together the posts that we make featuring items which are worn outside in cold weather. OK, to be fair, I doubt I’d want to brave a blizzard in a midriff baring sweater, but it sure does look great in the context of Second Life where your avatar goes to the snow and ice when it’s fun and convenient. (Yes, it’s the virtual equivalent to living in coastal California!)

Callie Cline created a huge color selection of absolutely perfectly textured sweaters in three lengths: short (which ends just under the breasts), medium (shown, displaying the tummy) and long (which almost meets the pants layer). But the real fun in this set comes with all of the mix and match options. For my photo, I opted to mix up the hot pink sweaters with the bubblegum pink prim attachments (collar and scarf and the two arm cuffs) In addition to the pinks, there’s also two shades of most of the colors: brown, black, green and more. For a while I had a coffee colored sweater and bubblegum pink prim accessories. Callie included a color coordinated prim hat with each set too, but I opted to show off Six Kennedy’s “Snowballs” hair, which is available at Gurl 6.

Pair these sweaters up with your favorite cold(er) weather look and find a sheet of virtual ice and some Moopf Ice Skates. It’s a fantastic way to spend an evening of your Second Life.

  1. hehe, i LOVE the snowball hair too and due to a lot of request, have been giving out the texture for ppl who bought snowball and want to texture their hat to match the sweaters, as i did in one pic in the ad.

also, there a cute tintable snowflake tatoos in the set and they come in men’s too, AND this is the first “co-brand” item i’m doing with the sky shop!

you look adorable celeb… oh and all the sweaters are tintable, so really you can match them with anything.

and…. i love the iceskates, i can’t seem to take them off my feet these days!

    xoxo,
