New jewels at Cailyn’s

For the past couple of weeks, Cailyn Miller has been posting some intriguing photos of impending releases on her blog. The pieces are part of a new “one off” series of jewelry, which are single jewelry items (rings, earrings, necklaces, etc.) that are not bundled in sets. now that Cailyn’s new location is now open at Ocean City Mall in the Trouble sim, all of these great items are now available. Here’s a peek at some of Cailyn’s new offerings.
The first item is a new ring called, Starburst. It’s a pretty cluster ring with brilliant cut stones in contrasting colors that are placed to create a starburst pattern. There are 10 different stone combinations, each offered in silver and gold. The one shown here is Aquamarine in gold. The box includes both a blinged and non-blinged version (as are all of Cailyn’s pieces).
Next we ave Fluer, which is similar to Starburst, but with less stone presence. Instead of contrasting gem clusters, the stones are mounted on an open, floral-shaped base, allowing the slightest peek of skin to show through. Plus, the more oprn design really makes the largeness of that center stone stand out, giving the ring a bold, but not overstated look. It’s a pretty and feminine ring. Like Starburst, Fluer is available in a choice of gold or silver bands, with various gemstone choices.
The Circles ring is one of my favorites from the new releases, as I am a big fan of eternity bands in real life. Cailyn’s take has the stones placed at alternating heights, which creates real movement in the piece. It’s as though the little stones are dancing around your finger. Sort of like a carousel. According to Cailyn this simple ring was anything but in terms of the actual build, because of how difficult it is to align the stones correctly. It’s shown here in silver with a light pink stone. Finally, we have Cubed. This is a ring and earring set with a sleek and modern design. The pieces each have a single, square-cut stone that is bezel set in sterling silver. I like the way the stone has been placed on an angle for the earrings, but the ring is definitely the star. It has a wrap around style and is capped with a silver bead on each end. The metal appears to be hugging the center stone, creating the illusion that the stone is floating. The design and construction of this ring is dead on in terms of similar styles I have seen in RL. Cailyn’s version is available in silver only, but in a choice of seven different colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white.
